Side note about Sinatra; he was a total DICK! But the cat could swing, baby! Even though Frank WAS a real motherfucker; in so many ways!!!
"But the cat could swing, Oh, Oh he sure could swing..." Sung to the melody of ,"She," (Thanks to Gram Parsons)
Sorry for sliding off-topic, I dig Frank's music, but he was a real powermad prick . He paid a waiter $100.00 to punch Dominick Dunne in the face! The waiter was crying.
Side note about Sinatra; he dismissed the Beatles as bad music at one point, but at his Concert For the Americas Frank says that "Something" may be the greatest love song of all time. Glad to see that he came around.
@Pbcn1974 I totally agree.. I've thought for the longest time, that having pretty much everthing at our fingertips, really takes away a lot of the romance we've held in our memories, Of the way we "remembered" certain aspects of our past. Having my memories corrected with reality really takes some humbling.
this is 1969.. ive seen the footage '' john goes theres a band in the usa called the motherfuckers- then goes on in radio dj tone''' and this week kids at number one its those fab motherfuckers
The Beatles really should have changed their name to The MotherF*ckers. Considering all the women they got with from 1960-1969, im sure they F*cked alot of mothers :)
HAHAHA hillarious 0:09 when John's talking about the MF's and then Paul starts playing piano and John says "followed by Englebert Humperdink" making fun of him LOL
The name of the group was the Motherfuggers. Trust me, I was around back then and not stoned. Of course we all know that John was right in calling them the Mother fuckers.

@JoeMamaNewAccount Zappa already used that one. What did you think ,"The Mothers," stood for? Zappa said it many times at concerts and in interviews. The record company would not have it so... The Mothers of Invention was used out of necessity, get it? Sorry! I do LUUUUV the idea of the Beatles performing under that name!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
I don't agree with that at all. I love George. But he wasn't NEAR as good as Paul nor John. It's not his fault. He did his best and wrote some great songs, but he just wasn't given as good a GIFT as John and Paul were given. Again, not his fault though. It wasn't ANYBODY'S fault. It's just the way it was. And don't think that I'm going against George, because I love him so much :)
@wilsondylanmccartney What is wrong with u?!?! was john the lead guitarist? no i dont think so! and neither was paul!! and if paul and john weren't holding george back, he could've been 1000000 times better than both of them! but nooooo john and paul had to be greedy and take the god damn fame for their own selfish needs!!! Even when george asked for help on his songs, they just brushed him away! so u know what?!? If u love goerge so much u wouldnt have posted that fucked up comment!!
@huntergruntetr123 . John did play lead and so did Paul on several tracks throughout their recording career. George was good, but he had the chance to match Lennon and McCartney's songwriting standard from April 1970 on-wards. Yeh John and Paul had big ego's and as you said ...'greediness'. Also ( I know it's only 1 track) but, the bass line and harmony that Paul added to 'Something' was awesome.
Anyway.... who gives a shit....I'm a Beatles nut, and play in a Beatles tribute band.We both love em
@adampower1973 wow.... that was 4 months ago..... and no george didnt have the chance to match paul and john because they were completely selfish and thought it was all about them they didnt even help george with his songs. sure u r entitled to ur opinions and so am i. moment of truth here, george originally wrote blackbird. he was mad that ringo could get a number 1 hit on his songs and he tried really hard but couldn't quite get there. paul took george's song and finished it.
@huntergruntetr123 ......george never originally wrote blackbird. It was all paul. They were all great musicians and song writers. But god I love George~ hehe :) And yeah George was very underrated :( He had such good songs for The Beatles and most were tossed away. For example 'Not Gulity'!! If that were a Beatle song, it would probs be one of my favorite! But instead its one of my favorite George songs instead :)
@iluvitbitch actually there is a demo recording of George doing not guilty during the beatles white album days. I would guess that it was about 20 takes from being a finished song. It was a much harder edge, rock version......
@adampower1973 so thats y i stopped being a paul mccartney fan. he was selfish and big headed and i think goerge should get credit because he was fucking there and played his guitar like the rest of them. oops my bad... i meant BETTER than all of them.
@huntergruntetr123 Paul is an exceptional chord writer and plays both the guitar and bass with a very unfamiliar teqhnique at times wich sounds really tasty. Just check out Paul's solo on Taxman...oh wait...you must've thought that was George playin the solo :)
@diddilitli dude, im not stupid... i know who the fuck played taxman. and wow! paul can play guitar AND bass?!? thats so amazing! i never knew that!!! well George can play some piano, the sitar, ukelele, and the guitar (better than paul can)
@huntergruntetr123 If I provoked you to be rude and sarcastic with that "oh wait", I am sorry. I just read out a little through your arguement above and it seemed like you simply didn't appreciate Paul's work. But nevermind, arguing is pointless and of course I do respect your taste in those individuals.
You are right that George was the most technical on the guitar of the group. They were all great musicians, no doubt. Love.
I didn't know this existed, only heard the demo Paul sent to Frank which he rejected, even Macca said was a poor song later. Nice to hear something called "extremely rare take" which really is what it claims to be.
Side note about Sinatra; he was a total DICK! But the cat could swing, baby! Even though Frank WAS a real motherfucker; in so many ways!!!

It's Paul who wrote Blackbird. George and Paul learnd a Bach song when they were younger, that was the inspiration for the sound.
