have you tried using an overdrive or a distortion? can this amp sound metal with pedals?

@vitriol81 Sorry, I'm not too much experienced with metal.. ;-))
Anyway I was using this amp with a Carl Martin Plexitone and it was very good..but it was more rock/hard rock !

I've got a MK1 LC50, the same as this I think... and I play alot of rock and metal style stuff and yeah, you can get a great sound out of em without pedals to be honest, pleanty of volume and they sound amazing! even next to my engl powerball

i love that sound man, really smooth and plexi-like!!! Could you show an example (rhythm and lead also) of how the cranked up Plexitone drive channel sounds with this amp's clean channel? if you could show it would be fantastic!

I'm sorry but I sold both the pedal and the amp...
Anyway, the pedal is really good and your playing remains intellegible also at high gain levels on both its channels.

What you see at 0:30 of this video are the settings I used on the PT ! All the PT knobs are ~ 10 o'clock, on the first PT channel.
