  • I forgot about TNN haha.

  • It sounds like a Jet! My 01 looks almost the same, minus the wheels and the hundreds and hundreds etc less horse power.

  • my dad has this excact car just with out the tiwn turbos and its not a hard top

  • I wish Jeremy Clarkson would have tested this car back in the day. It would have been sweet cakes to see the look on his face when he mashes his foot on the floor. But knowing Jeremy, he'll probably still find something wrong with it. But it will take him a hell of a long time to do so.

  • Any one knows how I can get my hands on this video on DVD or even better quality? I know his daughter and son in-law an I want to get it for them.

  • Lmfao @ the "warning" in the end to viper and z06 owners.

  • Christmas, really!?!

  • This is easy mid to high 10 second car. Look at the trap speed.

  • What an incredible machine! It's actually faster than the new 638 HP C6 ZR1!!

    Motor Trend ran 11.2 @ 130.5 in 1/4 with a 0-60 in 3.3 & a 0-100 in 6.9 with the ZR1. So this Lingenfelter starts to walk away from the ZR1 after 100 mph. I'd love to take this baby for a spin! R.I.P J.L =(

  • I miss him :(

  • Unreal!!

  • Bring it 2JZ!.

  • @vfIskullangel: Please translate (into english).

  • @HistoryKrell I wasn't speaking Japanese.

  • @HistoryKrell He's talking about the Supra. Which this Lingenfelter Corvette will eat alive.

  • @krocialblack oh yeah it will XD (japanese cars have all the technics, but who said raw power doesnt work?! XD)

  • @HistoryKrell Toyota Supra ;)

  • @rodneyrick: I do not understand. You are possibly at the wrong U-Tube video.

  • @HistoryKrell the 2JZ is the engine code of some Supra engine... he means that his Lingenfelter will crush the Toyota Supra with a 2JZ engine...

  • @HistoryKrell hahahaha I saw what you did there

  • 4:40 keep the hands of the car

  • John was amazing, Lingenfelter makes the most beastly cars in the world, I mean it is just crazy! R.I.P John Lingenfelter

  • What i fuckin bad-ass!, kill any car on the street and then drive to church that night, then drive to work in the morning.

  • 0-120 baby.

  • I know you miss John. I think of him every time I drive my twin turbo built by him. He was a very nice man. And he knew more about engines than almost anyone.

  • yup in 1988 he drove and pushed the callaway corvette tt sledgehammer beast to 255 mph...20 yrs ago and there is barely 2 cars that has acomplished this 20 fucken yrs later..vettes are the best !

  • @shjesus

and it gets faster, the Corvette Lingenfelter ZO-6 has a top speed of estimated 300MPH on race fuel, and 226MPH in a standing mile...

  • @angryace13 300mph would be where it gears out in 6th, though that would literally be impossible. Vipers and Ford GTs are the same way.

  • @iPROFITDON

well thats not exactly impossible, i find it more than possible, with 1,300 Rear wheel HP? thats a lot of power! the Corvette Sledgehammer made its top speed record of nearly 255MPH with only 850-900HP... this car gets 1,300HP on race fuel, and 1,518BHP with 28LB Boost in addition to race fuel. it is probably more Aerodynamic than the sledgehammer was in addition to that.

  • @angryace13 The difference in aerodynamic drag at 255mph and 300mph is massive. Think the what, 1200hp SS built for top speed, more aerodynamic than a Corvette tapped at 267mph. Besides the fact that the a Z06 would have a pretty good chance at going airborne before 300mph. Not to mention they have trouble keeping the engine healthy doing mile runs, a run to 300 might be a bit much. But, I take that back, nothing is impossible, just highly doubtful .

  • @iPROFITDON

and even if it was impossible, i do not think the limitation would be gearing.... i think the Corvette Lingefelter ZO-6 may have the right gearing to do it. not all cars have the same gearing, so to say just beacuse the Venum Viper or the, Ford GT can't do it beacuse they redline, it does not mean the Corvette Lingenfelter ZO-6 cant. the issue here would be how long the tires would last, they would probably be toast... and with the right tires and gearing its a good chance.

  • @angryace13 Gearing is a major issue. When I say the same way I mean 6th gear. Even with 1300rwhp with gearing long enough to get to 226mph in 5th, 6th is too tall to pull. I used the Viper and Ford GT as an example because they both have that overdrive 6th used to get highway millage, they all reach top speed in 5th effectively. The ZR1 an exception. It would need extremely long 1-5 gears to attempt 300mph. Race transmissions is a different story :}

  • @iPROFITDON

first... i do not think the Corvette Lingenfelter ZO-6 with all that power would use a stock transmission, second, who says the Corvette Lingenfelter ZO-6s top speed is achieved with 5th gear? i don't see any records of that...

im going to PM you and enplane this a little better than i can with only 500 characters...

  • @shjesus OR LETS JUST SAY the GREAT CHEVY SMALL BLOCK THE BEST ENGINE EVER BUILT

  • My full text I do not think was shown. He had a magic touch. I thought he was industructable.

  • Amen. John was a great man. A true gentleman. I think about him everytime I drive my Lingenfelter Twin Turbo #7. John himself had his hand in building my car.

  • @meadowz06 lucky fellow
