I was seven and making making ramen noodles in the microwave because I was seven and stoves are intimidating but i forgot to put the water in and my ramen noodles and they caught on fire. Now I make ramen noodles on my stove just in case I forget again.
The first functional reason why waterbeds aren't aquariums is because you still have to have sheets on the waterbed if you want to sleep in it - you couldn't see the fish. Secondly, you add poison to the water in a waterbed, so you don't get mildew - the fish would die. Thirdly, currents, aeration, cleaning, and feeding would be impossible, or at least, very difficult. And finally, most waterbeds have a heater in them, to warm the bed up in winter, and temperature changes aren't good for fish.

I have two greyhounds, and they're fantastic! Such intelligent and gentle dogs. Definitely keep an eye out for any limping you suddenly spot though, it could be a sign of cancer, which is what one of my last greyhounds passed away from, and which another one of my current greyhounds now also has. :( Apparently it's somewhat common in the breed.
My parents currently have 3 greyhounds that they adopted, and they have had several more that have passed over the Rainbow Bridge. I was going to get a rescue named Nemo, but she also was not cat friendly. One will come along. But congrats on your greyhound, they are such wonderful dogs!

I put a cup of ramen in the microwave thinking that it was gonna be all good so i went into the living room which is fairly close and i start smelling burnt beef i look over at the microwave, it was smoking and i opened it (carefully) and than ran it out the back door and sprayed it with the hose.

I believe the movement on the water bed would cause a shock that would kill the Fish... UNLESS, of course, it was the Frame that was like a fish tank...which would be cool... but then you'd have to ave invisible sheets and I don't think the fish want to see you practice making babies. o.o
Lemon is adorable! My uncle adopted two greyhounds recently and they are wonderful! On another note, I don't think the waterbed/aquarium thing is such a good idea... I mean, that seems like it would just freak out the fish. Like fish torture.

If you had a water bed with fish in it, they would still need light and an oxygen source and if you caused too big of a ripple you could hurt the fish. Way too much trouble to deal with I think lol.

@2:00 I've thought about this before, I've had a waterbed since I was ~5 and heres what I think:
Air bubbles are annoying; the whole bed shakes as the air moves from one end to the other. Now imagine a fish swimming under you. You wouldnt sleep.
Also, feeding the fish: There's only one hole, how are the fish supposed to find that?
How would you clean algae out of a waterbed? When you refill a waterbed, youre supposed to add cleaning fluid. Which might contains chlorine.

Your wives sound like the most interesting people. From John saying that, on their first date, his wife said that imagining the future is a certain kind of nostalgia to you saying that your wife wonders about why water beds don't double as aquariums- they both just sound amazing and different that each other but mostly amazing. Please do vlogs with them sometime? They seem very cool.

You guys talking about them also made me feel better about my oddities. I'm always spewing things similar to that, and the fact that you both appreciate those types of things in the seemingly amazing people you married makes me feel like it's not a bad thing, that eventually when I gush about simplicity being achieved only through enormous effort or how cool it would be to own a bionic fish, someone will really understand and appreciate it. and it really means a lot.

I have two greyhounds, and they're fantastic! Such intelligent and gentle dogs. Definitely keep an eye out for any limping you suddenly spot though, it could be a sign of cancer, which is what one of my last greyhounds passed away from, and which another one of my current greyhounds now also has. :( Apparently it's somewhat common in the breed.

My parents currently have 3 greyhounds that they adopted, and they have had several more that have passed over the Rainbow Bridge. I was going to get a rescue named Nemo, but she also was not cat friendly. One will come along. But congrats on your greyhound, they are such wonderful dogs!

I had friends that adopt retired GreyHounds and Whippets. Graceful dogs with super skinny legs.

I put a cup of ramen in the microwave thinking that it was gonna be all good so i went into the living room which is fairly close and i start smelling burnt beef i look over at the microwave, it was smoking and i opened it (carefully) and than ran it out the back door and sprayed it with the hose.
the most simplest rule of ramen.
DONT FORGET THE WATER
my kitchen still smells like burnt noodles and beef to this day

I believe the movement on the water bed would cause a shock that would kill the Fish... UNLESS, of course, it was the Frame that was like a fish tank...which would be cool... but then you'd have to ave invisible sheets and I don't think the fish want to see you practice making babies. o.o

i did the same thing with ramen.. except i hadnt put the noodles in their yet and the water evaporated and my pot had melted to the burner!

Lemon is adorable! My uncle adopted two greyhounds recently and they are wonderful! On another note, I don't think the waterbed/aquarium thing is such a good idea... I mean, that seems like it would just freak out the fish. Like fish torture.

Aw, Lemon is so cute! She's got such a lovely coat, greyhounds are wonderful dogs, I've got three rescued greyhounds, and they're all so well tempered (though the youngest does look at the cat with some hunger in her eyes)

OMG! That's funny because a while back I was thinking the same thing about the whole waterbed/aquarium thing...I guess you'd have to feed an oxygen tube into the bed, which would be kind of difficult to do...

I would get a retired racing dog, but I already have a few boxers and they are a hand full ha.
If you had a water bed with fish in it, they would still need light and an oxygen source and if you caused too big of a ripple you could hurt the fish. Way too much trouble to deal with I think lol.
