  • Hi "devoinregress",

thank you very much for posting this animated lyrics, no question: 5 Stars ! Cheers, Professor Matzko

  • That was great!

  • Brilliant job, well done!

  • Yay for this vid! Great job!

  • i might be the only one who noticed this but its "simon and garfunkel" not "simon and garfunkle" its el not le

  • Yeah, I noticed it too. . . I was just thinking ''Oh! Sickened!'' Like the effort you put in, man. Seriously, fair dues! Great choice of song for your project. Simon and Garfunkels' music was so poetic and idylic, this is a prime example. . . (5 stars) :D

  • Amazing.

  • CUTE!!!

  • Dude, that rocks!

  • So lovely, song and animation.

  • pretty sweet

    but it's el : )

  • devestatingly brilliant - a song about not wanting to be american during the vietnam war and the racist crisis...but wanting to be part of new york radicalism and san fran liberalism...

in short: it's about wanting your american cake and eating it...impossible, i'm afraid - like being a middle-class englishman at the moment...

  • I really enjoyed this 8) My favorite S&G song set to---um. Whatever XD

  • My favourite S&G song.

    1968

  • GREAT ANIMATION

  • I don't usually post comments on this but your vid is just lovely. Superb use of raisins!

  • Roger chose the basement, after reading about Anne Frank, and how her hiding place (the attic) didn't work out so well.

  • awesome!

  • this is my favorite song of all times but when i ask people if they have heard of simon and garfunkel they say WHO? many people are missing out on genious music such as this, so thank you for showing it to the world

  • This is so freakin rad!! The only thing you did wrong was spell Garfunkel wrong. But s'all good (Paul's my favorite anyway ;]) Very nicely done, you have patience and talent! Simon and Garfunkel are amazing musicians. This video does the song justice =] 5 stars!

  • Thanks, I like them both but unfortunately I am dyslexic and raisins don't have spell check built into them...

  • Yes, those would be some very strange raisins...

  • @poempoorlywritten3 i prefer Ringo!

  • @whoarethebrainpigs I meant Paul Simon of Simon and Garfunkel... Haha

  • it's remarkable how paul simon's songs matured after the good, but very self-consciously poetic 'parsley, sage...' album of 66...

just one year later, he was writing brilliant stuff like this - very clever, but unpretentious, distinctively original, not trying to sound like bob dylan...

it's a mark of just how important simon has been to melodic, lyrical rock music...at every turn in his career, he's worth listening to, and he never rests on tired old laurels. a wonderful artist.

  • Wow! I love it!

  • well said bee!

    now write an analysis, please...

  • Nah, you did that already.

  • stunning - as good as it gets and it hasn't dated for one minute, in fact it sounds almost supernaturally modern.

if only america felt so good (and liberal and tolerant) about itself today...

  • One of my alltime favorite songs and an absolutley fabulous video! Great job!

  • nice job. awesome song.

    (its -kel not -kle though)

  • And it shows! Very nice job, this is the only Punky's Dilemma song that the audio is actually from Simon and Garfunkel! Very nice job! A+++

  • You did a fantastic job..to my favorite Simon&Garfunkel song.

  • I think it came out very well, I aways loved this song thanks for putting it up cwi2054

  • Thanks cw, I really appreciate it. It is such a beautiful song and deceptively simple. I have always really wanted to do this and since doing it the song has gained even more meaning.
