So many polygons and animations on screen. So many lighting effects and huge areas, at 60 fps (though with some screen tearing) is impressive for a ps2 game. Dunno why they didn't just make the game run at 30 fps. If it did, they could add more textures and polys and I bet it would look as nice as first class xbox games.

Not trying to rain on your parade, but the sad fact remains;

PS2's low L2 cache (low info held with each cpu process), and lower ram meant ultimately less information on the screen than xbox.

If it makes PS2 owners feel any better, the processor's overall speed was actually very close to the xbox cpu due to those V units. Xbox had no such thing.

If the L2 cache was higher you would have seen better anti aliasing / less jaggies.

The PS2 was powerful, just hampered by low memory.

I already tried L1 + L2 + L3 + square + circle but it doesn't work!

I didn't understand if I have to keep il pushed down or press just once before the "playstation 2" logo comes out or after the language selection

L1..L2..L3 ( yes, the analog is a button as well.. push it..) and also press

square and circle

keep those 5---- if done correctly, the disclaimer should appear purple

Can you please tell me how to get the PS2 working with the Hauppauge? It works just fine for my PS3, however it barely works for PS2, any suggestions?

Basically I just used the Component cable and after that...well it's just the same with the PS3. The software I used is ArcSoft TotalMedia that came with the Hauppauge.

One last thing...when I upload the video taken from the Ps2 on Youtube, the image results corrupted...how come?

@TheSabin Yes, but I personally have noticed lots of interlacing problems when I record PS2 footage with my Hauppauge PVR, Xbox 360 and PS3 are fine though...I also use the Component connections for all consoles, haven't tried composite yet for PS2.
