@xeropsi I saw that there is a way to update your operating system to android 2.1. search it on youtube, there are a few vids on it. you do it through your computer, and i believe you have to download something called pc companion as well. you could google it as well. i found it very helpful.

@tecmouth i had the htc hd2 it is a great phone screen is lovely but because its windows mobile it has very limited apps compared to android on the x10. there isnt really much to customize on the hd2 apart from the wallpaper and the x10 has a much better camera/ i sold my hd2 last week and am awaiting my x10 to arrive, so both good phoned but i prefer more apps and games and better camera so id go with the x10

This phone dont have multitouch. It's the hardware that don't support it, not the software. So multitouch will never come to X10.

2. The whole interface is ugly and everything in the phone is built on the "timescape" feature.

3. It's overprised for a phone that lacks multitouch and other specs that all other phones have.

I would not recommend this phone. It's new, yet it feels outdated already

The X10 with Nexus One Rom would be the best i think. I can't understand why SonyEricsson don't use the normal Android OS like the Nexus One. The Nexus one ist the best Android Phone because it hasn't any think was it not useful like the timescape and Mediascape. This is very bad, it kills only RAM.

this must definatley be pre-production as you do get a landscape keyboard in messaging once rotated, as i have tried the phone out in the 3 store. and also in messaging do you get to see sent and drafts or is it just inbox and new message?
