I have Crohn's disease. I want to get a juicer that will do the BEST job for both root vegetables, fruits AND leafy vegetables. I can't pay more than $700 for 2 juicers. I'm going to be juicing carrots, celery, ginger, kale, lots and lots of wheatgrass, and many other kinds of veggies. Are the Omega 2004/2006 the best all-around juicers, or to get the added benefit of easily juicing beets, carrots, celery etc., should I get the VRT? wheat grass is key but other veg is key too.
If you don't support centrifugal juicers why are you advertising the L'equip. i know its an ejecting one but its still a centrifugal juicer, doesn't it kill the enzymes etc. etc. because of it's high speed? Just wondering if you could clear that up for me cuz i don't understand that tid bit, i'm looking to buy a juicer myself, for fruits mostly. Thanks in advance, response is much appreciated :)
Its not that I dont support centrifgual juicers. Its that I want to share how all the different juicers work so each person can make their own choice as to which will BEST MEET THEIR NEEDS. each person has different needs. When I got into juicing, I purchased a centrifugal ejection machine, and it served me well for many years. Even today I still own a centrifugal ejection juicer, and will use it sometimes when I only want to juice straight carrots. See my other video on "heat the juice test"
Great video! Very informative! I'm looking for a juicer that isn't too expensive and can juice leafy greens, as well as other vegetables and some fruits. Should I go with the Champion juicer, or the last one you discuss? (Sorry I can't make out the name!) Thanks John!
green power is the best for the money, next is an omega, next is a norwalk if money is no object, centrifugal juicer are worst. cleaning is tough. juice is minimal.champion is great BUT green power slaughters them all. what about bph in plastics and the speed at which they extract? juice vitamin oxidisation? (can I have a job?)ive owned 3 out of four of these over the last 28 years.
i have a champion wich is great for carrots but i want something for greens like kale but i read reviews of the single augor juicers and many complain that the plastic can leech into yourr juice any suggestions.
@rawfoods I'm concerned with getting the whole juice and not having moist pulp on the end. Do these machines produce dry enough pulp? thanks, great videos and website.
Depends what you mean by "dry enough". Best to buy the juicer that will best juice the produce you want to juice. Some juicers are more efficient at juicing leafy greens, for example. Some are more efficient at carrots. Unless you buy a $2500 norwalk juicer, that is efficient at juicing most everything, but besides the high price tag, it can be more time consuming to use. Juicing, like life is about trade-offs... until someone invents the "perfect juicer" for around $100!
Still not sure which juicer to get, have to see them actually do the job, with the same ingredients, and then how hard it is to get them clean, that's the really big drawback with all of these, seems like.
It would be REALLY awesome if you actually demonstrated them in action. Take 4 the same type of produce and make sure that they all weigh the same. Run them through each one and then lets see EXACTLY how much each juicer returns.
I want to start juicing and I've been researching juicers for the past couple of hours. The Hurom seems like a winner, but how does it compare to the Jack LaLanne's power juicer? Is the Hurom worth 3X the price?
I want to buy the vert, but I already have the Acme certrical one, which saved my life circa 1981. I gave my L'equip 615 XL away; the hopper wasn't ejecting well. Champion was too pricey and big, so I bought the Sampson single auger from you in '99. I also have the Kempo double gears (the Cadillac), but some root veggies back up; it's slow, since the screens gets clogged. I want the Vert!
Hello John, thank you for your videos. I bought a Greenstar Elite 5000. i was so inspired by some of your interviews and you really inspired me. Again, thank you for the insights and i wish you the best.
I would love to see a few of these in action, juicing a similar amount of produce. It would be interesting to see the amount and quality of juice each produces from different fruits and vegetables.
cool video, very informative.

Appreciate the break down of each machine and the info.. I'm so impressed by the abundant garden! Are they fed by your juicing pulp? Great work!

For juicing leafy greens, I recommend the Omega 8004 or 8006. Its the upgraded model of the Omega 8005 shown in this video.

Check my other videos. I actually have demonstrations of using many of the different models.

@bobburke1964 how are you liking your juicer? I've heard it's one of the worst.
also I was advised not to buy from infomercials.research and read reviews before
buying anything.

@sylvi4444 I like it a lot. It's works really good just like on the ad.
