The computer controls every thing so when you have only manual system control it becomes diffcult to move a starship but it can be done. No refit here, shes just recovering from having her computer core of all the system controls erased. Not a good thing for a starship.
Love it. It's these small details which don't really cost a penny but simply ask a bit more from the audience, that helps bring the show into believability. Personally, I wish Star Trek used more of these technical details, but I understand that most of the viewers are like lol37 down there, and can easily be overwhelmed. Nick Meyers did a good job of introducing these in his two Trek movies.
@xxXlolXxx37 This is an exaggerated example of how, "Technical" Star Trek dialog can be. This is actually a rather unusual scene, it lays it on a bit thick for only two and a half minutes. But I do understand all the terminology used and some of it is even throwbacks to old language used for "real" boats.

love the cgi but they talk a lot and most of the things they say i barely understand it should be like stargate :)
