i remember them doing things like that. Pat Sajak was a nut! lol. I remember my grandfather thinking he was just over the top and did not like him. Loved Dan Miller. Even when pat sajak got his talk show, he took Dan with him as a backup, much like ed mcmahon to jonny carson.

mjoven, I don't want to get into a pointless contest with you, but when I paused the video (at 1:05), the place where Pat had his middle finger directed was the corner of his OWN eye. Dan was in the other direction.

@A1l2l2e2n4 If you pause at 0:26 you can see what direction from Pat that Dan Miller is sitting in. When Pat turns around at 1:05, his middle finger is clearly pointed up and is visible to Dan Miller. He probably was scratching his eye, but I do think that is an intentional middle finger.

Dan Miller went national in 1989 when he was Pat's sidekick on his ill-fated CBS late night talk show. There was another Dan Miller from that part of the country, and that Dan Miller was a host on TNN in the 80s-90s, hosting You Can Be a Star(80s), Top Card(1991-93) and :10 Seconds(1993-94)

Dan Miller passed away yesterday from a sudden heart attack at The Masters tournament. He and Pat remained dear friends to the end. RIP Dan. Nashville broadcasting will never be the same.

and believe or not I was watching some old Pat Sajak Show Video when he tried to be a late night talk show host and his sidekick was Dan Miller who at the time was working in LA on Televison and they also appeared together on this video. I wander if anyone else knew that one besides me.
