Also It only takes like 4 seconds to pinch the line, show blitz, and hot route two players to a yellow. Then he can take the Fs and user control the short middle and then drop back deep

Anyone in the flats would be open, true, but not every play has perfect def. This is more of a blitz and hoping the QB gets sacked before he recognizes the flats. Most gamers when playing Madden always look at their WRs and if theyre somewhat covered then their TE.

i do this shit all the time... except on a 3-4 formation, and with "RENEGADE".

depending on which side the offense is loaded on, always drop the safety that's supposed to blitz back in short coverage. And alternate the middle linebackers going either to cover the sideline and/or the part of the field where the other LB left open to cover the line.

there's always going to be holes in a zone when your sending more than four rushers. His point was using rushers to get to the qb before he can make the through. the prob is, a couple hot route adjustments and blocking assignment adjustmens and a decent read on the LB or Nickle can easily negate the rush.

you're playing against the colts. peyton manning would've thrown it to a soft spot in your poor pass coverage since you overloaded your players to pressure the quarterback. he's four receiver shotgunning which means that there will be a good chance of him completing a pass. the best choice is to choose a pass coverage, take a linebacker and put him next to the DE(on a 4-3 defense) and blitz immediately. the right side is outnumbered and a speedy linebacker should easily get a sack.
