@SoundOfAShark Yeah, like my dad has no clue about anything so I'm the one telling him what to get but he has used PC's his whole life and really has no clue how to use a Mac because we went to the Apple store and he was saying, where is Internet Explorer?!?!?! Haha, but I guess I can sell some stuff and get a Mac. And another thing, is that Mac's are standard with programs like Microsoft Word and you don't have 90 day trials.

@SoundOfAShark Not really, haha. I have a PC and its nice, its that im only 14 and the expected money was delayed so I have to sick with a PC until my dad says so. But its working fine, I just want the programs on the Mac, and there is only one way to do that.

Lol I used to have crazy setup dreams like I wanted an 8-Core Mac Pro with two 30" Cinema Displays. 6000$ heck no!!

That was only a few months ago. Last week i got my new 21.5" iMac and i have no regrets about it. Sometimes you just don't need really complex, awesome setups.

i suggest instead of the logitech mouse i would go with the black microsoft wireless arc mouse.Looks even better,has a TINY usb chip and has great sensitivity and battery life!

How does the HP monitor work with the Macbook Pro?  Are you able to use it dual screen (i.e. with your laptop screen active too)

Don't forget no firewire, which is a total pain in the but, cos all the best audio cards and video cameras and hard drives like firewire best

Yeah I was thinking about that but in all the years I have used computers I honestly have never used a firewire port. If I was to get a high end camera I would figure something out.

i am thinking of getting almost the same as you have i would either be getting a macbook the unbody like you want or a macbook pro i am not sureand another screen with the wireless keyboard and mosue from apple and a screen with hdmi at 1080p res for my ps3 wihch i have now

external HDD w/out FW!!!!, just get the white macbook, its cheaper, same 2.4GHZ, and you get a huge bonus, FIREWIRE

USB will take hours to backup, u will regret it
