Ive got an amiga 1200,do music on it for fun.I like amigas so much more than anything.I think the people at Commodore {amiga} stuffed up thier marketing stradegy .Maybe they werent so much buisiness people but real honest stoners

My network setup is 100Mbps LAN card and cable modem.

I have 10 Mbps connection. On A1200 you are limited only by harddisk speed :)

@Mercury888 Because people didn't 'get' what the Amiga was about. They didn't know why they would need multitasking or multimedia, they thought it was only good for games, and somehow took away from the Amiga's capabilities as a business machine.

It wasn't until 10 years later, when Microsoft started the marketing offensive on Windows 95, that people understood why multitasking and multimedia were great. "Oh wow, I can play music in the background!"
