I think a good cover version should make a song different from the original whilst retaining the key elements, and by that rationale this song is fantastic. It does something totally different from the original, which is kind of jaunty. I am not totally sure about this live version, but the studio track is fantastic.
seriously understand that this a live recording and it doesn't tottally do them justice but this is an incredible cover on record and of course they get the humour they are just really passionate about the song. Also the two are the most underated artists currently in this country on their solo projects check them out please and learn to understand rather than making igonrant comments like theses guys need shooting, they need listening too more instead. kudos to the underground
