I have seen this movie several times already. I'm pretty sure it's my favorite Disney movie now, and i am a huge Disney fan. The characters were very real, especially Tiana. And the music was absolutely amazing, i just cannot get enough of this soundtrack. Oh, and i can't get enough of Naveen either... that accent is gorgeous. Bruno Campos did a fabulous job :)

I liked this film a lot but alot of questions were unanwsered in the end.

1. What was the debt that the shadow man had to pay?

2. Why did the servant get arrested in the end?

3. Why didn't the other girl turn into a frog when she kissed the frog?

On the other hand I loved the characters and the music was totally "Disney"! (that's a good thing) I loved the Evangaline character and the little but. Full of good spirited fun but maybey alittle scary for the kids.

The trailer's a bit misleading, since Mama Odie never uses that quote at 1:58 and the movie isn't about wishing on a star, but rather about how hard work is just as important as wishing, if not moreso. Even the title of the movie is misleading, seeing as the "princess" of the movie doesn't become a princess until the very end.

Just to make everyone who has already commented on this hate me, Walt Disney was always trying to find new ways to animate things, always trying to be cutting edge. His business was the opposite of traditional. I have a feeling he would love computer animation. Just look at UP. If that isn't a purely magical Disney movie, then there is no such thing.
