I know that in the past I have felt disgusting because of my period, and my ex would try to make me feel beautiful and we still would have sex on my period. It can be messy and yes, it's bloody sometimes, too, but for me the worst part about having sex while on my period is the cramping. For some reason it makes the cramping kick into high gear, so it makes it uncomfortable. Also, period does have a funky smell (normal not some infection) and that's not a turn-on at all. -shrugs- My two cents.

Sex when I'm on my period is the Best! Why that's when most girls are the horniest, and it doesn't have to be messy at all...just wash up first, bring a towel just in case. A lot of times it just kind of stops bleeding while you're doing it....and starts up later again after you are done and just laying there...so don't just lay there, if you're done put on a tampon...it's that easy. and if it's the first day it isn't so much any ways....or the last day.

Well, part of it is, when a women is on her period, it's not only blood being discharged. It's also mucus, and uteran tissue, a discarded egg, and other bodly fluids. Would you have sex with uteran tissue and mucus? Most men wouldn't. In my experiance though, good sex can cause your uterus to contract enough to make the period stop temporarily. Of course, there's also the hormone factor, where women[[not all]] get moody, in which they wont want sex, and the lack of sex is associated with periods

I am with my boyfriend and when I'm on my period, we don't do anything sexual. It's not that he thinks I'm dirty or that I think I'm dirty or that he believes that I don't deserve his 'holy genitalia'. It's just that...Well, I guess the sight of blood makes us both uneasy? Well, part of it is, when a women is on her period, it's not only blood being discharged. It's also mucus, and uteran tissue, a discarded egg, and other bodly fluids. Would you have sex with uteran tissue and mucus? Most men wouldn't. In my experiance though, good sex can cause your uterus to contract enough to make the period stop temporarily. Of course, there's also the hormone factor, where women[[not all]] get moody, in which they wont want sex, and the lack of sex is associated with periods

What are you talking about? I've been with women that were on their period, and they still get "wet".
Unless you're referring to tampons absorbing the moisture, that would make more sense.
