  • friggin great pop music...clean

  • randy bachman and burton cummings ...they ARE the guess who!

  • DA N'DA N'DA N'DA N'DA!!!!!!

  • They just don't make music the way they used to

  • This song was originally done by a group called the Guess Who. They were very popular in the late 60's early 70's. Then they became Bachman Turner Overdrive. These guys are really good and sound like the Guess Who, but nothing is liike the originals. That is why it is called classic rock

  • @psi4rick Dude the video IS the Guess Who

  • @psi4rick These guys ARE The Guess Who, idiot. Sounding better than ever at that!!!!!

  • @psi4rick you are a complete idiot.

On August 8, 1999, Cummings, Bachman, Peterson and Kale reunited once again, after responding to a personal request from the Premier of Manitoba, to appear at the closing ceremonies of the Pan American Games at Winnipeg Stadium. This led to a cross-Canada and US tour for the band beginning in 2000

it was only Randy Bachman who left to eventually create Bachman-Turner Overdrive.

  • Rockin legends that sound awesome and better than ever here

  • that was grate.

  • Guess who mostra ser o rock de verdade de todos os tempos

    mto bom o som deles

  • Good days. This was all that was on the radio. Not that anyone listens to the radio anymore.

  • Real musicians, real music, no gimmicks, just straight up Rock 'n fucking Roll the way it's suppose to be!

  • That just made up for the Leafs not winning a cup in a long time.!

  • Great ocals all around. If they still tour, I will go see them, I never have.

  • QUÉ BÁRBARO, QUÉ GRUPAZO, QUE BUEN POST. PURA MAGIA-ARTE- SENTIMIENTO-VIRTUOSISMO

  • ABSOLUTELY FREAKIN' FANTASTIC! THESE GUYS SOUND AS GOOD AS THEY DID IN THE LATE '60'S! One of my all time favorite bands! OUTSTANDING!

  • Just another reason why 60's music was so awesome and today's music sucks so bad!!!!!!!!!!! If they are this good now then imagine how good they were back then.

  • It's Funny How SomeDay We Will All DIE .My Father Told Me Once That This Is The Only Thing For Sure That We Will Pay Taxes And Die But He Never Told Me Rock & Roll Will Be Around Foe EVER.

  • All i can say FUCKEN OUTSTANDING.

  • Wow they sound fucking amazing. Nothing better than watching the older guys rock out...great video.

  • "HOLY FUCKIN' SMOKING SHIT!!!!!!!!!!"

  • @2hamboigahs ......hey numbnuts......you can only fucking dream of being even a tiny bit as talented as these guys.......

  • Sars-Stock - Downsview park Toronto Ontario July 30th 2003...over 450.000 people in attendance .. one of the largest gatherings of people in Rock and Roll History and it was AWESOME being there!

  • Finally a Live version about as good as the studio original!

  • Terrific video! Thanks for posting it!

  • thanks juliohen , for the over 50 crowd! I remember this song like it was yesterday,

But we won"t go there! Awesome video, Great audio, I replay it every day! tks!

  • These dudes remind me of my dad man..and I love em' almost as much as my old man too!

  • Toronto rocks. You guys have the loudest fans.Saw the wall there last fall and never heard a more bunch of enthusiastic fans in any city.I'm from Thunder Bay and although we turn up the decibals at times,i just love watching concerts in TO.Keep on rocking

  • How good is that ?

  • Why can't people make music like this any more :(

  • The best version ever for this song thank you boys top song.

  • who said us old folks cant rock we remember when rock was pure and not done electronicly i know i cant spell but who cares

  • First I want to state that I LOVE THIS SONG! With that said, when I hear Burton sing the hits nowadays, including this one, it sometimes sounds like a lot of his phrasing is very nasally compared to how he sounded back in the day. Does anyone else hear that? Still a great performance, but I notice it especially when he pronounces his 'I's like when he says TIME. If he's doing it on purpose, I prefer the original deep sound of his vocals.

  • Now that's what I'm talkin about !!!! :)

  • Their new lead singer just don't cut it for me!

  • @gokomets77 Their "new" singer is part of the American version of the Guess Who. Unfortunately, Jim Kale owns the band name and travels around the US pretending he's in the real band. No Canadian fan would have any trouble figuring out that.

  • Awesome! This was a good tune in its day, but with the energy in this song by Burt and Randy and the band, it takes on a new level. I was around when they were at their peak and this performance makes me feel 30 years younger. Thanks and if you have more, please post it.

  • Grrrreat song !

  • Very nice!

  • @3musicmakers ..Good question......have u found out why?

  • Just a classic venue - with a classic crowd - woot woot Canada - and a classic song - I will bring it to my GRAVE!

  • If I were to have only Heard this performance I would have thought it was being performed back in the early '70s.

Hats off to the GW.......They still got it!

  • Randy kicks ass

  • Randy Bachman can make some nasty shit come outta that guitar. And we love him for it.

  • You know.....I never appreciated Burton's voice until I got older. When I was a teenager, I didn't like him. I think it's because he was in his "Break It To Them Gently" phase.......

I sure can appreciate his Guess Who stuff! He's awesome!

  • Very great band! I bought American Woman when i was 14 :-)

  • Randy Bachman looks and sounds great here !!!

  • They only get better with age!

  • Great band. True performers in every sense. Wish I could see them live!

  • We used to burn our 8 tracks up listening to these talented musicians. Brings back memories and that treble booster on that guitar sounded so cool.

  • This and undun at tops!

  • One of my favorite songs, ever, and done by the band better than on their old studio LPs!

  • just GREAT!

  • Great Song Forever

    LOL

  • NICE - Im the 90,000 viewer, and the 200th person to Like. Awesome

  • Yeah, they may be older ... but still they play so well!! Music keeps them going!!

What about retirement? Their music keeps them young! The Guess Who... to my opinion, they never made a song that was wrong! Very versatile!

Burton Cummings, Randy Bachman ...but the drummer Gary Peterson is also awesome! He is a great drummer, technical and creative!!!

  • only 88K views, wtf. thats all i got to say WTF

  • good music, great band!

  • BARRY RODEN - PHOTOGRAPHY LEGEND (MAN IN WHITE SHIRT)

  • Why aren't they in the Rock&Roll hall of fame,or at theeee very least nominated?????

  • @ayotteable: They probably will be one day (hopefully not too late.) Speaking of halls of fame, where's Canada's version (called Metronome) and when is it ever going to be built?

  • Bands should be this great which is why this concert is so great!!! No hype...no stupid costumes...no lip synching...REAL music...real artists. I'd love to go to a concert like this. Haven't been to one in a long time. I agree...the little vids done with phones or a little ol' camera just isn't great like a pro.

  • What the....how many people were at this concert lol!!!

  • the guess who . from canada , the best of northamerica.

  • It was a giant thrill to see this version of the Guess Who, as long time fans thought it would never happen, due to Randy & Burton's differences at times. Billy Wallace is a better bass player than Jim Kale, Donnie McDougall is great and, except for Neal Peart, I think Garry Peterson was the greatest drummer to ever come out of Canada. One of the musical highlights of my life. Sorry I wasn't at this show, but thank you greatly for posting!

  • fantastic fest - how peopel in fest ? 100 000 1 000 000 orr other

  • MOST EXCELLENT!!

  • Wish I were there!

  • AND I've seen Gary Peterson w/both versions. Well, it's not for me to judge, but I'd like to see all fences mended and see the whole contingent play - there was a lot of GREAT music.

  • As with many bands, there is often a change in direction and sometimes fighting. If you look back to how Burton and Randy were at odds ("Long Gone") and all of the changes in personel it's no wonder that there may still be bad feelings.

I've seen BOTH of the incarnations of this reunion band (saw Kale play in a dive bar in Allentown nearly 25 years ago when it seems no one wanted to lay claim to the name Guess Who) and enjoyed both...

  • unbelievably great. Bachman looks really cool with all the weight off and I'd still give an arm to for a fifth of Burton's talent.

  • great video, one of the greatest groups in rock history! love Guess Who. is the best!

  • great song...great band.....seen them about 5 or 6 times since the 70's...and every show they did they were terrific.....bravo

  • the guess who, no time - espectacular.

  • I was at this show. Great performance, by the Guess Who as well as Rush and AC/DC.

  • one of the greatest bands of all time.......

  • Sounds freakin GREAT THANKS FOR a GREAT UPLOAD.

  • A very very underrated band. This is a great song and this band had a lot of them. Great musicians, it was all about the song.... not an individual. Burton Cummings still sounds like he did 35 years ago.....great.

  • @Stickgeneral524 My opinion is that these guys would put out some great rock songs, but then come up with other songs that were easy listening or something. If they had stuck to rockin', they wouldn't have been under rated. But that's my opinion. Great performance, here.

  • This is a fucking fantastic song. I'd put this in my top 3 favorites ever.

  • @onlyrock1 Me too.

  • What a great last blast, these guys have retired as a band several years ago, but the video is incredible., also never forget BTO,. I grew up with both bands, I think I'm going to retire myself now,, Later, (but I'll still be watching.)

  • come to cleveland fellas. i will bring 10,000 friends.

  • these guys are tight. awesome. got my first turn on back in 71 and i was a kid then. wanna see them live.

  • This song Rocks

  • This was the very last Guess Who performance with Burt and Bachman in the lineup. This was also one of their finer, but shorter shows (Sars Stock). Glad they were able to finish their last show as the "Guess Who" infront of hundreds of thousands of people!

  • man Canada just have great artist huh :)

  • It's true. Things do get better with age. Great job dudes.

  • Did Randy Bachman lose like 100 pounds? He was huge in his BTO days. He looks and sounds great in this clip.

  • Woodstock 1969 appears so small compare to this Toronto Concert!

  • Excelent....This is music..isnt it?

  • Where are the music awards for the Guess Who? I've been to many concerts,

Stones, Kansas, Fleetwood Mac. Etc. Keep it going guys.!!!

  • One of the Best,,, bands from the 60s and still sounding as good a ever. I can remember smoking weed an a little hit of acid thinking Share the land was where it was at,,,, Far out,,, an out of sight . Sounds a little silly now,, Peace out

  • Hat's off Juliohen, this is one of the best video's I have ever seen.

  • Canada's largest ball of cheese

  • Wow! Great stuff! Nothing else needs to be said. Thx Canada.

  • the best performer ever

  • Yes, great to hear this after so many years..... Randy sounds like he did back when.....

    John

  • Burton Cummings looks like Super Mario, Shave the Mustache and join us in 2010.

  • Winnipeg's finest. A true grit, good ol' Rock N' Roll band!

  • These guys are really rockin'. They haven't lost anything. What a pleasure to hear this again and to see this video.

  • Awesome. After 35 years, they are still as great as ever. The world has changed, but their music will always remind me of the best of times.

  • Great harmony, even after all these years.

  • oh yeah baby i was there maybe 30 rows from the stage just to the left of the walk way up the middle amazing spot me and a friend stayed in line over night to get that close .. cant see myself in this video lol..downsview park 500,000 people event was to raise money for toronto and sars flu epidemic that was going on around the world , also on the bill was rush , ac/dc ,the rolling stones and many more...awsome show .. very hot that day we could of used some clouds or rain ...cheers

  • Randy lost a LOT of weight by this video.

  • @auntyval1 Yeah, I think Burton sweated off about 6 lbs in 5 minutes too! LOL!

  • Great Harmony from a true Rock band. Bachman is still on. Newport Beach 1974..The PCH at dusk--the BEST

  • That is a HUGE crowd

  • About twenty years ago I began a project which took almost a year. I wanted to compile a list of my all time favorite 250 songs....ranked from #250 to #1. The studio version of NO TIME was numero uno. The very best. Today is the first time I've heard this live version of No Time....and it's a classic. Awesome song. And this is a tremendous live version of the song.

  • juliohen, thanks for the post. I was there. the Guess Who is a legendary Canadian Band that never fails to deliver. Burton you rock! Randy is so cool on guitar. Cheers.

  • great harmony, and who cares if they are older.......still great!!!

  • it's it the video angle or did everyone put on weight except randy and gary.

  • SUPER GROUP!

  • Thank you for posting this masterpiece, I have really enjoyed it. One of the greatest songs ever performed.

  • Wow!!

  • Goes to show you're as young as you feel.

    Say, is that Mosport Park?

  • I wonder why Jim Kale didn't play bass at this gig.

  • @Yardbirdsfan He was booted from the band in 2000 for not being able to stay sober.

  • Damn good live version of a damn good song (sometimes any live version can stink, if you know what I mean, especially at a venue this big).

  • Bueno, para que negarlo.SI, yo tuve mi época de Hippy Latin Version. Y recuerdo ke con esta canción "No Time" en los tonazos del gallinero sacudía la melena casi hasta el amanecer... I want a RooooooooCCCccccKKKkkkk!!!!...

  • April Wine should of been there along with these guys and RUSH.

  • Excellent concert footage of one my favourite bands of all time,The Quess Who?. Originally from the excellent 'Canned Wheat ' album(long version) Thanks for posting it. I see Bachman, Burton Cummings, and Peterson. Was that Jim Kale on Bass? and who was the third guitarist? Thanks. Hartley C.

  • @hartleycwhite

    I believe it's Donnie Macdougall

  • Burtons voice is so sexy. Love the guess who!!!!!!

  • I had this song in QUAD when Quad was to be the new sound. This song bounced around the speakers so much it was a trip to listen when stoned.

  • was this at the SARS concert in Toronto??

  • I WAS THERE !!!

  • Is that Randy Bachman on Lead? He went on to did pretty good with Bachman Turner Overdrive.! :)

  • Gotta love the BOC guitar jam at @3:00.

  • Nice guitar riff........kind of like moody blues.

  • Atualmente, alguma Banda se iguala ao The Guess Wo? Duvidooooo.....

  • Alguma Banda, atualmente, se compara com eles? Duvidooooo...

  • impecables...solo eso

  • Untill I heard this song playing at a Mcdonalds a few day ago I havent heard this song in so long myabe since I was a kid. But now that I've got it on my I pod now it got to be one of the best songs ever made, great guitar riff and chorus. And dam the Guess Who sound just as good now as they did when this song was new

  • The Guess Who!! WOW!! They are from the Beatles era and forgotten....Soooooo much better than their competition...Good Canadian Kids!!!

  • these boys have a very refined sound

  • They still sound amazing!!

  • Who are the members of this band, besides Randy, Burton and Gary? It doesn't appear to be Donnie and Bill, unless I'm mistaken.

  • Wow! I was shocked when I saw them, but then again have not seen them live for 30 years. Who says old farts can't rock? Amazing. thank you whom ever posted this.

  • if any this time musicians is out of ideas i think its time to look back and see how the old school rock was made

  • First time Randy Bachman looks like a "real" rock star...lean and mean.

  • You have to not like rock 'n roll to not like this.

  • I know this is an understatement but he Who in Fricken Awsome! ....!

  • Excuse me; The Guess Who.

    Awesome !

  • I want to thank the person who put this video up on this site because, it's of a great quality. Not recorded off a phone. Great tune........love you all

    Mike

  • You're a great person, thanks. - Santiago, Chile

  • Great tune by a great, great rock and roll band. Yeah, they may be older, but they can teach today's musicians a thing or two. Love the song structure, the melody is to die for, and Randy still is one of the most melodic soloist out there.

  • It is very wise what you say. - Santiago de Chile.

  • @Jammerkevin to be older or young what does have to see about do music??!!

music is first to hear , ...music is music... if we ar waiting only for good looking boys girls,,better go to see a movie. After all, mostly of pop, rock or bla bla bla music of today is a crap.

  • @oolongman Where are your platinum records?

  • When did John Goodman join the Guess Who?

  • Just great! Too bad we don't have music like this anymore (for over 20 years!!!!!!!).

  • One of the tightest, talented live performances of any song I know.

  • Yeag, amazing live version; very true to the original.

  • Excellent clip, if you like this one see the Undun clip from the 2000 reunion show. It is epic...

  • So kick ass!

  • anyone know who the drummer is here?

  • gary peterson?

  • It definitely is Garry Peterson.
