It's too bad the yarn color is so similar to that of the knitting needles because it makes it really hard to see what she's talking about like "see the selvage edge." Also would have liked to see this tutorial start from the first stitch after casting on because I ended up with my active yarn on the same end as the tail and that isn't how it looks in the tutorial. Normally these videos are really helpful for me but this particular one was a little disappointing.
Was looking for precisely this tutorial because I can't figure out how to make the first non-cast-on stitch but the movement of the hands in this vid is way too fast to figure out what's going on. I think people who make videos like this forget that while THEY know what they're doing, their audience doesn't, and therefore blasting through the detail renders the instruction useless.

I learned continental way and it's faster and when u switch to crocheting, it's easy because u hold the needle the same way

She's knitting the continental method, which is how I knit as well. Very practical---you don't have to keep throwing yarn on every stitch.
