You can use "Wait" block, choose Sensor: "NXT Buttons"

Wow... on all of these videos people are saying "Wow that must have took so much work!". But in reality, its the simplest program you can make. Two blocks, one records, one plays. This was my first NXT project :P

Nice job, can a program record its own movement? For example your robot goes froward until the Ultra Sonic sensor sees something, could the program store the traveled distance as a variable to execute later?

yes! you can "save" the value of Rotation sensor (build in motor) by "file access"

and read them to perform the same motor rotation.

by the way, when you use "record and play" block , you can not operate other command block.

That means during "record" you can not control any motor and sensors by program.

The first time I pressed orange button for executing the NXT program.

I roll the knob randomly.

The second time I pressed orange button for starting replay what I roll.
