Just dig around in Sheepscot Bay at low tide for a while and you will find them, and a whole mess of sand worms. I had a marine biology class in school specifically on the Gulf of Maine where we got to provoke these little buggers with pencil erasers, had one take a chunk out of mine.

Ok...I'm going to throw up now. I ididn't know what blood worms were until a few days ago. I saw these beautiful green spotted puffer fish in a store tank and fell in love with them. I've been doing research on how to care for them. Worms just happend to be my only phobia. I would rather die than touch a worm. I am vegan...because of worms....in meat.
