  • Very nice video!!!!

  • WOW !!! we love it All Fantastic camera work and Great Trains, Well done with all your work and Time, Congrats Cheers. Thanks for Sharing.

  • I have a 1957 O gauge Union Pacific, certainly not as fancy as yours, but I do love it. This would be a dream come true getting a nice big locomotive. Too bad we just don't have the room. :(-boo hoo.

  • very cool layout.

  • This is awesome. Great video. I'd love to have a setup like that.

  • nice!!!

  • nice, but i wonder dont the neighbors complain about the noise ? :D

  • how did your horn/whistle blow in the axsact same places evry time you go arond the (rely cool) loop??!!

  • Just out of curiosity, what do the neighbors think when those thing are running?

  • stupid question here......can you run G-scale in the rain?

  • nice one dude, nice to see somebody doing something like this

  • Hermoso!!! un gran viaje me di yo con mi sobrina jejejejej!!! lindo... Felicitaciones..

  • Awesome track and those trains a brilliant, cool stuff.

  • Very nice!

  • Thanks for the trip!!!

  • @BabyiaDioneao721 old joke man

  • you just put thwm outside ur house just like that?

  • Very nice layout

  • Aren't you afraid someone might steal that shit while you're not looking? You know, since it's outside!

  • Great Video- Nice layout- But it would be really nice to see a NYC J1e Hudson (USA trains makes it) or maybe something from CB&Q (Burlington Route)!

But really nice layout and good video work!

  • @IAIS513 $1,800+shipping for one loco is a bit out of my price range right now. That due to scale differences between manufacturers, mixing USA trains with LGB doesn't look quite right - though I still have been thinking of picking up a GP9 anyway (USA makes one with the paint scheme of a loco at a museum I used to volunteer at).

  • @DTrigger05 I can relate to the pricing- that is a bit much for an engine! I only Mentioned the CB&Q because the "Everywhere West" line was is in UP's area too and Burlington and Union Pacific often were seen lashed together in late 1950s and into 1960s- besides, in my opinion the red and yellow colors of both roads together looks sharp!

    Nice layout though!

  • you might want to trim that plant.

  • amazing layout, my thanks for keeping me excited during the day

  • Yay, the camera survives :D

  • Brilliant!!!

  • y cuando llueve ???

  • really a great video. all the angles my train enthusiast wants to see, and the tunnel is great.

  • 4:31 Where dos that switch lead 2? At the end of the tunnel

  • @1BoyAwesome Currently it doesn't lead anywhere. But when we get done working on all this stuff again, the switch in front of the tunnel and the switch at the end will lead to a siding that runs to one of the two layouts in the backyard (which will also have a siding leading to the second, so eventually a train will be able to run through all three).

  • 4:31 Where dos that switch lead 2?

  • wow it goes very fasT!

  • if u dont mind me asking how much was this and where did u get it because ive always wanted one of these expesally a very long wone like this and y do u need to sprinkle dirt and roks between the tracks even for a tiny modle on like this

  • @seelder Well, first and foremost, tiny is probably the wrong word to use. The smaller steam locomotive you see, the New York Central, is probably between a foot and a half to two feet long. As for price, a similar engine to that is retailing for about $700, but if you shop around you may be able to find it cheaper.

  • Very well done!

  • that pov was sooo fun

  • Nice, but I would be worried about vandals......

  • Very cool. The in-board sound effects are a very nice touch really exceptional.

  • WOW! This is great! Love the classic yellow UP!

  • I have that train except it is 1464 it is awesome!

  • That's hairy.. Going backwards watching the front of the train chasing you..;-)

  • what guage is this g?

  • muy buena maqueta amigo

  • thats pretty cool

  • Very Very NICE...You have got me thinking if I can do this where I live in NZ......well done sir................

  • awesome!

  • lovely :)

  • I would love to do this at my house. My problem is I live in NH and the snow would destroy my lay out.

  • The snow should really not be any problem for thees trains, there build to tackle the outdoor use.

  • i have a f7 and a f7b

    from Santa Fe

  • Large scale sure sounds very good. The ability of the larger speakers to convey the bass frequencies is the key.

  • Before the camera started moving, I thought the track went across the driveway! Also, at 1:27, that track that intersected the one the train was on, was it the same track that had split off the mainline before the train entered the tunnel?

  • I Am Located In Western GA. Harris County, yes this would look really weird to people that walk by

  • THANKS 4 SHARING this is really cool

  • I Maybe Could Keep mine Out In My Front Yard, I Live DEEP in The Back Of My Neighborhood. It would Just Look Weird Here In The US

  • ^This is located in the US. Southern California, actually.

  • I have my garden railroad in the front yard. No one knows its there because of the way I have planted shrubs, flowers, etc.

Its only visible once you come down the driveway. I have videos of it on here. check em out!

  • Very cool! I love the shots with the camera facing the front of the F-7s. Nice job. Great looking layout.

  • This is really cool!!!

This train track would of taken a ot of time to build!!!

  • i believe that those are lgb f-7s

  • I would rather have it in my back garden because what if a vandal came and smashed it up, you cant keep anything really in your front garden here in the UK without someone trying to break it.

  • Same things happen her in Australia, if you went to the effort of putting down a nice model railway in your front yard, sure as hell some unemployed teenage bastards, with nothing better to do, would get enjoyment out of smashing it up for you, and peeing on the wreckage afterward

  • yeah i had a little outside train layout around a few trees. the pyscho kid across the street, while i was working on it, (putting down buildings, painting unskinned trains) decided the stomp around and he ended up bending the rails to the point where i coudlnt run the trains there. since then i have a little barbed wire fence around the most open parts of my layout

  • did you do anything to the redtard shoot him with a bean bag gun.....................bb gun.................tell his parents to replace it sue lol jk but what did u do

  • shot him w/ a high powered bbgun

  • Most impressive indeed! A layout to be well proud of! :D

  • is that a 2-8-2 mikado?

  • thats really cool

i wish i could could have a little garden railway in my yard

  • BTW, is that a hummer @ 3:00 ?

  • no it is not a jeep hummer

  • awesome, 5/5 (Y)

  • Pretty simple track layout, but nice.

  • Nice dude!

  • thats cool! good job. how do you keep the nabourhood kids out of it being so close to the sidewalk?

  • What kind of Dcc control unit do you use in this video?

  • Don't use one. Use wireless control, yes, but it's not DCC. The parallel sections of track are wired so that power is only supplied to the line the switch is set to.

  • What a bad-ass layout. You can tell the many hours that went into it.

  • nice sounds and layout i love the UP e8

  • how much dus that steamer weight!!!??

  • What is the weirdest thing that ever happened while running the train? ...stray dogs attacking?

  • what do u do when it snows?

  • Never snows in San Diego...Well...it did once, but I'd hardly call it "real" snow.

Even if it does, however, the tracks and buildings are built to withstand it. The locomotives and rolling stock on the other hand should be inside a weatherproof building...a shed, or in the house.

  • What happens when it rains?

  • The reply above applies to rain as well. Buildings and track are built to withstand, and rolling stock & locomotives are inside the house or a shed.

  • very good layout for the limited space avalable good filming as well

  • did anyone else notise the ant??

  • Awesome Layout!!

And an excellent video as well

  • One heck of a nice railroad you have! I am a garden railroader as well, and I have a ton of G scale videos on my profile if you want tot check those out!

  • How long is the locomotive???

  • really cool!!!!!!!!!!! What does this setup cost????
