I recommend you avoid sli due to micro stutter. 3 9800gt's = GTX 260

Just buy a GTX 260 or a Core 216

doesn't it get a bit noisy with all those vents (5 chassis vents)? for the CPU I use a Scythe Katana 2, I think those are very very quiet and cheap.

i won a dota allstars tournament in a local cyber cafe, and the prize i get is sponsored by a comp shop, it's a custom-made pc, core i7 4.2 ghz, 12 gb ram, 1300 watt psu, tri-way sli gtx 280...it's cool, but they do have a green colling tube with some liquid or fluids inside, looks like semen 0.0! i tested crysis on it, my average fps is around 75, is it good enough?

Everything looks good except for the Acer monitor. You should ditch this TN based LCD for something like the Dell 2408WFP (uses a Samsung SPVA).

A system like yours is screaming for a high-quality 1920x1200 display. SPVA and SIPS based panels offer much, much better picture quality for all apps including games. Response time isn't an issue anymore for modern high-quality LCDs.

In my opinion, 22" gives a nice advantage for real time srategy games and is not too big for FPS...but if you choose a 22" you have to verify the response time. Samsung 2253BW is a great 22" screen with a 2ms response time(which is excellent for a monitor that size!)

The G92 8800gts is a great card. Take a look on newegg though, theres a lot of companies offering the 9800gt at the same price as a 9600gt. As far as cpu goes, the 8400 is a great chip and would match well with a 88 or 9800gt.

Stick with a quad 2.4ghz, because they will overclock a dream, you should get speeds of 3.0-3.3ghz.

8800/9800 GT/GTS are great for the price, and can handle most games on full. Just not the big games. If money is tight then get a GT and simply upgrade next year if need be.

Personally I wouldnt bother with SLI.

The tuner just allows the pc to act like a TV. You still need a tv service. i.e. Cable, Direct TV, Dish, etc.

Yes, it will load. BUT, before you remove it from the old motherboard, uninstall the old motherboards drivers. Will let the installation of the new motherboard drivers go a lot smoother

Dual cores arnt better than quads. only the 45nm dual cores at 4ghz will beat a 65nm quad at 3ghz, but only slightly. some of the 45nm quads can reach 4ghz so they pwn dual cores then.
