  • im looking through you is the best song on this album :)

  • In my life 3:16

    Wait 6:06

  • Why do they have a guy hitting his thighs throughout the whole song I'm Looking Through You?

  • Who else dreams of kissing Paul?

  • @SingALilify :P

  • Why is In my Life the 10th song it should be the finale.

  • best part of Rubber Soul! :-)

  • I listened to In My Life 3 times. Great song.

  • It takes a certain kind of love for humanity to write this type of music. Yes, above all the Beatles were unbelievably talented and gifted musicians, but they were also civilized human beings not perfect by any means, just four guys whose songs were about Love and Peace for this sad and troubled world.

  • i want "in my life" played at my funeral.

  • Never will you see 3 songs in a row on an album that are this good! For me, the song Wait is one of the most underrated songs by The Beatles, Harrison guitar work is immense.

  • Wait! In My life i have been looking through you, and baby you've never lost my affection.

  • my mom's three favorite Beatles songs are In My Life, Anna, and Revolution

  • The funny thing about the cover of this album is that John looks like he has no eyes. XD

  • three really great songs in this album paired up into a good sequence, and it's awesome how John and Paul vocally collaborate in Wait, it's so awesome

  • The Beatles are welcome In My Life anytime

  • These three songs are amazing :)

  • Why is there a gap ......... just kidding Pad man. Awsome labor of love, thanks for sharing, I am rebuilding my beatles collection as my means allow me, I get great enjoyment from listening to them. And because of your posts, I remember sitting on the floor in my room with a new beatles album , then 8 tracks, and amazed at some of the songs I had not heard yet, but they were some of my favorites. Due to your efforts, I will be buying the albums, not just blue and red album. thanks man

  • would be hard to chose a favorite beatles album, rubber soul would be right up there, pure magic !

  • Please take Mark David Chapman's eyes out and throw them away

  • @jdmans, what do mean when you say you want Mark David Chapman's eyes out and throw away?

  • @megabatmanfan Chapman assassinated John Lennon.

  • Beatles looks like Queen band if theres a Rubber soul theres a Queen 2 album :D

  • Rubber Soul=greatest album ever made by any band ever period

  • la cancion de mi funeral sera In My Life,,,,,,, y despues todos sus albunes,,,

  • only Rubber Soul!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • yah right...these goddamn pauses need to quit. you can throw this on a mac computer with like final cut or something and get rid of those. in a matter of one millisecond where each gap of silence instead of music is laying. something. something can be done and should be and i'd like to think has to be.

  • you have change my life

  • No more nostalgia. This affect Me today. TODAY.

  • In my life is a soul crusher. Thats song writing unlike anything that exists, high level art, picasso, ..

  • @spentarts2

You've obviously never heard of the Black Eyed Peas.

    I kid, I kid.

  • Padfoot... harry potter referance? :D

Rubber Soul is my favorite album <3

  • cheers for all this padfoot, rubber soul is music at its pure best

  • Naw I looked it up on wikipedia. and the album I ahve is the United States version, with different song order and they both have three different songs added, this is the U.K. layout here.

  • I have this in vinyl and its my dads from long ago. The songs were in a different order with different songs... Tell Me Why

  • @F5oMikE

You were high when you listened to it before.

  • I suppose the same goes for the other Beatles, too.

  • I think this album especially is where John Lennon evolved from his old style of writing. In Help!, it was starting to sway a little in a different direction, but in this album, he really redefined his own music.

  • such an awesome song... sounds good with a good interesting message... what we get now is black eyed peas bull sauce 'boom boom boom'... son of a...

  • I LOVE this album!!

  • Padfoot333 rocks!!!

  • You can sense his frustration on 'i'm looking through you' Beatles are perfect

  • in my life gives me the chills!

  • yo me too... every time a guy in my family gets married they dance to 'in my life' with my mother.

  • If you could get them on vinyl you wouldn't be disappointed!

  • BTW John Lennon said in an interview that HE preferred the mono mixes of the older songs, and that the stereo versions made him "want to puke."

  • @marvy1118 LOL.

    John's so cute. xD

  • Mono is the way the songs were intended to be heard when the recording was being created. Stereo separation was an afterthought and the mixes are ALL WRONG in the stereo versions.

  • I'm looking through you, about his actress girl friend who didn't have to play 2nd fiddle smart educated ect so he cut her down

  • I'm Looking Through You is brilliant.

  • @michellestmarie all beatles' songs are brilliant

  • The History Channel had a special on the beatles on 11/25/09, i think, it was called, The Beatles on record. It was good

  • Yeah, it was the beatles on record. Saw it too. It was awesome. If you liked that youd love the beatles anthology . got it 4 christmas and it's brilliant

  • I love how when Paul McCartney talks about Day Tripper and says "I was the last one to take acid. It's pretty wierd because you talk about peer pressure but you would never think it would be with the Beatles!"

  • it wasn't really peer pressure back then lol, it was more or less "hey man we went to diner with this doctor and he showed us this awesome stuff, have a go at it.... OKAY sounds good!"

  • hahahaha i was totally born in the wrong decade! if they can make a friggen Ipod, why cant they make a time machine?

  • @dave8594 Because an Ipod plays mp3s, it doesnt rip a hole in the time space continuum and transport people through it...

  • @WoodsBall91 No fucking shit. I was trying to say that they should make a time machine so we could all go back to this decade. Dumb ass.

  • @dave8594 Yeah like fuck thats what you were saying. What you said was that " if they can make an ipod why cant they make a time machine?" Which means you think that an iPod is just as easy to make as a fucking time machine. Nice try shit head

  • @WoodsBall91 Well then you read wrong thats not what i meant. I mean our world is so advanced with technology today that it shouldnt be too hard to make one. Geez it was a joke chill out. Obviously you didnt get it.

  • @WoodsBall91 godamn, dont argue on a beatles video. just sit back, and enjoy the songs of the best band to ever live

  • me to it was fucking awesome

  • i love anthology!!!! whats great about it is every time i watch it in one big runthrough (which usually takes 2 to 2 1/2 weeks), by the time i get to Let It Be, i don't even remember most of the first one! so it's like watching it for the first time, EVERY time!

  • @theredapple94 yeah, that's exactly how anthology feels for me! it takes such a long time to watch, and you don't remember any of it, so it's new every time!

  • Wait is so goooooood!

  • The majority of Beatles fans in 1965 have played this in dansette mono.

Audio perceptions have changed, along with the technology. So what is the point of trying to compare then with now if what u hear is OK, unless you still want to put it on that dansette. Its an enjoyable experience, so just leave it at that

  • In my life is amazing, beutifull in mono. Beutifull anyway, but still.

  • Beutifull is the only word that describes it :)

  • I think I might go with the stereo versions of the remastered. Theres too much fuzz in the mono's.

  • these sound better in mono, u crazy foo!

  • My opinion. Although, as I said in other videos, that The Beatles earlier albums sound MUCH better in mono.

  • yea its cool man, it's just that in theory, the concept of mono sounds so much better....all the the sound in one channel rather than filtered among several others. but sometimes, i guess for instances when the sound travels across the channels, it's pretty cool

  • Oh no I totally mean what you get. I'm just so use to the stereo that the mono would be weird for me and also I've heard the later albums in mono, and I don;t like, but everything before Rubber Soul sounds great in mono, it truly does. And yes I know what you mean, sometimes the sound travels across the channels,. I can't think of a song right now but I know there is one, just can't think of the name right now.

  • lol i got one..girls just wanna have fun - cyndi lauper. the opening synth sound travels across your ears...it's pretty cool

  • Oh my God... you're right lol. But no I was thinking of a Beatles song that does it lol.

  • it's a lot on the latest kaiser chiefs album too, bit of a random fact but oh well ^_^

  • One instance is the bus on Magical Mystery Tour. And then of course Revolution 9 is full of things going back and forth.

  • Any fuzz you may hear I'm sure has something to do with the compression of Youtube. If you got the cds I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed.
