Here is a separate question regarding Yeshua and the Temple: What is the general view of Jews regarding the prophecies of the destruction of the Temple/Jerusalem by Yeshua/Revelations/etc. and do you view the destruction of Jerusalem as a judgment upon the Jews of that time as one from Yahweh?

How is it that Jesus predicted with precision the destruction of the Temple in Matthew 23-24? I mean he even gave a 40 year window in which it would occur and details regarding how it would happen. His entire ministry was a warning to the Jews of that generation that they were going to receive judgment for the blood of the prophets, etc.

@CohibaSkeeza It is because "Iesous the Savior" is a back-dated literary gloss for Titus the Destroyer. Jesus is the Temple because Titus was its destroyer. Jesus is the Christian High Priest because Titus was the last man to enter the Most Holy place. Titus was the "beloved son, in whom I am well pleased" because Vespasian, his literal father, was his "Father in Heaven" who had committed the war against the Jews to his charge. Second, you might very well be an assimilated Jew. This means that you have to undergo conversion to Judaism to prove your Jewishness.

If you have a Jewish mother, there is no question that you are Jewish, so you don't need to undergo conversion.

@iaqov Thank you for your response, I do have some Jewish friends who say this and I do understand why they say it.....the mother keeps the religion and tradition, the mothers are the ones who keep the houshold and teach children and such however fathers do alot for the household and teach children in their own way so I cannot understand wy fathers would be excluded. Also just wanted to defend my Jewish friends in that they are not ignorant they are very smart!! Thanks again....G*d Bless!

@7KEDDY7 This is for determining the Jewishness of a person who may not know they are Jewish. That someone's Jewishness is determined through the mother doesn't mean that the father isn't supposed to be Jewish, too. It only means that the father's Jewishness isn't the determining factor.

Both Jewish men and women are only allowed to marry a Jew.

Also, a Jew may have a different status than another Jew, because of their past or that of their parents. They're still Jewish.

@7KEDDY7 If a person properly converts to Judaism, the Rabbis instruct the convert to search their genealogy for Jewish ancestors. If they don't find them, they tell them to look harder.
