Barbarians and children. At least here in Wisconsin both our smokers and non smokers have the intelligence to see how the smoking ban improves things, and we get sub zero winters. So if our smokers here are willing to put up with such conditions, you guys should suck it up and stop whining, at least you guys have good weather year round to smoke in.
I watched a video from Wisconsin not to long ago that a number of Wisconsin bars are now smoke-easies. They are letting people brake the law because of the loss of business they have suffered. Hawaii doesn't have snow but it rains a lot and it is rarely predictable.

After the smoking ban went into effect tests found that 7% rose up to 97%. Now I'm not a Pulmonologist, but it seems to me that a 90% rise is pretty damn good.

Because clean air should be a right. Smokers are so used to the way things are, they can't grasp that they have owned those venues for ages now. Non-smokers would like to go to restaurants and bars without worrying about the health of their lungs.

@CommentClown Restaurants I can understand to a point since they attract families with children. Bars are patently adult venues where children typically aren't welcome. Most bar goers are smokers besides. So why ban an adult activity in an adult business?
In Canada I can go to any bar or restaurant now. Even our casinos are smoke free.
