LOL...that explains his "Let me out" meow:) I miss my Main Coon...He passed 8 years ago and I still get teary eyed:( I had him creamated and his urn is in my hutch. He used to fetch balled up socks. Coons are so smart and little characters:) PS My Nerd Goof looked just like your kitty and was a male:)

@spiritofshiloh that loud motor sound is our propane furnace. We are in our camper trailer and it was cold outside so we have the furnace on. The loud sound is the burners and the fan for the forced air heat on the 35,000 BTU furnace. I do not know why they don't make them quieter. I don't like that furnace sound much either myself. but our kitty really hates it when it kicks on. He runs to the door and says, "let me ouuut"

@pianolove72 Gotta feed these cats the best cat food like Blue,extra blood work at the vet,regular visits and weigh them once a week because it's a sign somethings wrong and it's so hard to tell with all that fur what they weigh.Happened to us with Fatboy the Happy Cat-AKA Mr. Personality.16 years,20 lbs.Legs like tree trunks and lumbered when he walked like a muscle bound mini beast.Full of love though.Extremely affectionate and super intelligent.Many meow voicings signifying different needs.#1

Are you sure you didn't borrow MY cat?? Mine chirps and trills a lot, too.

But will resort to his "Listen to ME!" voice if I'm involved in something else...reading a book, talking on the phone, etc. He is particularly bossy in the evening and will just about insist that I come to bed. Not much sense is staying up if he's going to "talk" all through the movie!
