Curtis is adorable, but he seems so nervous when he's acting- totally forced.

Also, personal preference, they should not have him play Sonny. They need a nice deep baritone like Cheyenne's. I love him as Thalia, though.

And totally unrelated, I love the Xanadu shirts.

i saw this on broadway when i lived in nyc. talented cast for sure. but they really ruined the movie imo. it was cheesy, but in a bad way. the original xanadu was wonderfully horrible and cheesy. xanadu on broadway catered to middle america humor. it never took itself seriously like the original movie did. that's part of what makes the movie so fun to watch. ahh well. "suddenly" is a lovely song though.

i just found this incredible video!!!!!! it's remarkable how there are talented people such as this...i wish to one day be as AMAZING as Curtis Holbrook. His vocals are mad ridiculous and Kerry is a major hottie with a voice. I wish I WAS AT XANADU!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was lucky enough to see the show with Curtis as Sonny........He was an amazing leading man! Regardless of all the show's humor...there's only one reason this show potentially still viable on broadway 27 years after the movie. Olivia Newton-John. With Grease & Xanadu both on Broadway and having seen them both, you can't help but be nostalgic for the magic she brought to both musicals despite ones failure and the other the biggest grossing movie musical of all time.
