I was prepared to ask for a paper ballot, I was pretty surprised that it was all they offered :P

And I voted for Ron Paul, I would hope that every American voted for who they truly believe in, not for who people (or the media) tells you to.

VOTED FOR RALPH NADER! It Feels GREAT to be able to vote for a candidate you agree with 100% (And not play to the tune of the media - "vote for a lesser of 2 evils")

It was a tacktical move by the Corporate staus quo to move to electronic voting and away from paper ballots. It's much easier to purge massive votes, and for the Power elite to never worry about massive rebellion at the voting polls - People voting for a 3rd party/independent (not blessed by the Powerfull corporations)

When you buy anything, you get a reciept. But when you cast a vote, you get nothing (except that 'I Voted' sticker) So how do YOU know your vote counted? Don't ASS/U/ME.

Do you have a proof that your vote was counted correctly? A reciept? A record you can track online? anything ?

I voted today in California. What I loved most about my voting station is that it was all paper, no electronic voting.

And you did get a receipt that your ballot was cast.
