@yousufj56 i just feel that some religions press there religion on others. especially children. i think they should grow up learning about all religions, than deciding which one is best for them. for the parents to choose what religion they are i feel is kind of selfish
but your imposing your opinion on others too. Isn't a parent a mentor? A mentor would guide the child to the right path and it just happens that the mentor feels that the beliefs of that religion are best for the child. Allah didn't tell the other angels that iblis is a djiin. he was ment todisobey Allah.

the reason of god's command to bow to adam is because it was a new creation of god and it was like a tribute or an honor thats all

I have a question..Why would God want all the angels to bow down to Adam? why would God want the angels to worship adam and not God himself.

just to clear things up.... the bowing down was not to worship adam...by bowing to adam it would be following Allahs command and by following Allahs command they would be worshiping Allah because everything for the sake of Allah is worship. And as for the reason; i dont know why but there might be a known reason out there. However, as far as im concerned, Allah does what He wills.

God didnt want the angels to worship adam, but rather test their obedience to him, nevertheless we must remember that Allah knows what will happen (from there) so at that time was too a test to prove to Iblis (satan) that he will be wrongdoer, before Adams was fully created (in Adams time of being clay like) Iblis would go past and say "You have been created for a noble cause" iblis didnt know that he would be a wrongdoer till later.

@krayziejerry B'coz GOD wanted to defrentiate between good and evil and he did'nt want angels to worship adam instead of himself, Adam(peace be upon him) was only the direction like we prostrate infront of Kaaba but we dont worship kaabaa< kaaba s only direction and we prostrate GOD. It was a test for them that who listens to GOD"S command and who does'nt and GOD already knew it that satan(iblees) will do it but it was his feewill and he disobeyed ALLAH(GOD) ... Adam was just direction..
