  • The music was awesome and u r great with vision lab studio I have it to it's so much fun

  • thumbs up if you turned the music down.

  • were do you get fx home vision lab studios??? please respond!!!!

  • @cadester101 As of very recently, VisionLab is now being discontinued. FXhome has come out with a whole new special effects program call "HitFilm." You can check it out at hitfilm.com or fxhome.com.

  • @DarthHideous101 Dose it work on Mac or HP? Please respond!!! again lol

  • @cadester101 Did you look on the website?

  • what song is this

  • @multimichaeljackson9 "This Week the Trend" - Relient K

  • thanks

  • how? i looked on adobe website and clicked on student discounts and after affects wasnt there or adobe premiere

  • @6packjellyrolls Go to the Adobe site and paste this to the end of the address: /education/products/creativesuite/production/

This includes Premiere Pro, After Effects, Encore, Photoshop, and more.

  • aghh

  • @6packjellyrolls You can actually buy the Adobe CS5 Production Premium Student and Teacher Edition for less than this program.

  • Is there motion tracking is visionlab?

  • @6packjellyrolls No, there isn't, unfortunately.

  • its cool song

  • This was posted on my birthday! :D

  • Is it easy to learn?

I'm not expecting a 1-2-3, but I am expecting like a "you get used to it" thing.

  • @superskeetospro Yeah, you'll get used to it. I think I figured it out in maybe one or two months. It may seem difficult at first, but you'll soon see that the layout is easy to work with. Watching tutorials during that period can be very helpful....you can view some on fxhome.com.

  • vision lab studio demo is just like the one that you buy

  • I love FX home Effects!!!! Anyone who wants to see the movie i made with these same effects go to jmdjstudios home page and watch the valor launch trailer

  • is that programm so good how After effects from Adobe?

  • @Ashocka1 I'm not experienced with After Effects, but from what I gather, it is a lot more detailed and versatile (but more difficult to learn and use) than VisionLab. Vlab is still a good program though.

  • @Ashocka1 Its the same as after effects but much more easier. You can do things that you can do in after effects but it takes you much less time to do it. In FXHome VisionLab you can make a lightsaber and motion track it in 5 minutes. In after effects it takes 10! lol

  • yo dude is this editing program free or what?

  • @broz4lyf Nope, the demo is free, but the program itself is about $500.

  • @DarthHideous101 that is expensive did u pay that much for it? what a rip off

  • @broz4lyf It's totally worth it though....it edits video, that's mainly why it costs that much. If you don't like the price, you can buy EffectsLab Pro for $150 or CompositeLab Pro for $150. As the names imply, one specializes in effects and the other specializes more in compositing and grading. VisionLab is basically a combination of the two plus a few extra features.

  • @DarthHideous101 oh yeah true sounds good might have to buy it then

  • Where you download the VisionLab Studio download but I have to swipe a rendering me

or chopped whole video Please Enter

  • when ever i open it it closes by it self

  • hola mira no me sale nada para descargarlo dime como hago me gustaria jugar con mis videos y mis familiares dime xfa y saludos

  • friend how are you doing this kind of installations

  • im trying to decided what to get this or Sony vegas pro. I have sony platinum alread. can anyone tell me a their opinion?

  • Sony Vegas is more of an editing program (i.e. cutting and splicing, adding music, basic effects, transitions, text, etc.), while VisionLab is geared more toward detailed visual special effects editing.

  • You can't work with sound in Vlab (you have to either add sound later or make sure the base file stays the same), but you get highly detailed effects that you can work with down to the very frame. The best thing to do is to edit your footage with your editing program (vegas or platinum) and then add the special effects with Vlab.

  • alright thanks

  • @DarthHideous101 Wouldnt you recommend importing edited uncompressed video into vlab cause after effects you still need to reencode in proper format...

  • I don't have any experience with AE, but yes, I usually import edited uncompressed video onto Vlab (In fact, that's practically the only format it will take, uncompressed avi or mov).

  • *video format, that is.

  • I didn't mean AE, I mean after effects as in after adding effects in vlab...

  • Oh ok, haha. So did you mean import or export then?

  • LOL...okay let me retry this.

I upload a tape into my computer. It is now an uncompressed avi. I take that avi, edit it in my choice of editor (e.g. Vegas Pro), output that edited video AGAIN as avi uncompressed. THEN I open that edited avi with Vlab...do my effects, export as uncompressed AVI again, then I encode with my choice of encoder (h264, xvid, etc)...do I have the steps correct?

  • Yes, that's what I do. ;)

  • how do you make it an actual file?

  • Go to 'Render' in the top menu bar, customize your render settings if you need to, click 'Render' and select a destination.

  • thanks

  • who sings the song?

  • Relient K

  • does the demo work indefinatly or does it cancel out?

  • What do you mean?

  • @spacefannumber1 It's exactly the same. The only difference is that when it renders, it has FXHOME's logo all over the screen (kind of annoying.)

  • any ways of removing the watermark on the demo? 8D

  • Nope, gotta buy the full version.

  • screw that...ill find it another way ;)

  • Im thinking of buying it. Ive never used a green screen before andI'd like to know if this program is easy to use and learn.

  • Yes, it's very user-friendly. Just play around with it a lot, watch a bunch of tutorials, and make sure you have good lighting when you use your greenscreen.

  • ok thanks

  • Good job...

    Nice...

Would you join me team members???

    NightCrawler Studios

  • Thanks.

    Team members of what?

  • song name? Nice vid!

  • Thanks! "This Week the Trend" by Relient K.

  • cool song

  • nice....can you make lightsabers also????

  • Yup. ^_^ That's actually one of the major features of EffectsLab and VisionLab.

  • yey....

  • I got Compositelab and Effect lab shouldi then get Visionlab?

  • You should have gotten VisionLab instead of both of those.

  • do u need the green sreen

  • What do you mean?

  • 4get tha problem is wen i try to uploud a

video in FXhome it it won`t go

  • You have to render it first....

  • it won't stop working after like, 10 minutes or the program stops opening after like a week like some demos

  • Weird....I don't have the demo, so I'm afraid I can't help you there, sorry.

  • hey man can you make a starter video on how to use this for me please im begging u

    !!!!!!!

  • I can't, my computer doesn't handle the capturing program fast enough, and I just don't have the time right now, sorry. :/ I'm sure there are many other starter videos out there though, you can check the fxhome website, it has several tutorials in the support section.

  • That's the FXhome watermark that appears on all demos; in order to not have that, you have to buy the software.

  • Could I take photographs or footage of say, a street, and import that as my backdrop in VisionLab? Or do I need to download this kinda stuff?

  • Yeah, you could definitely do that.

  • Is FXhome VisionLab Studio free?

  • No, it costs about $500.

  • OK, thank`s

  • how do you import a video to fxhome??

  • Yeah! its realy cool, but, after you finish the project, how you export it?

  • You go to the top toolbar, hit 'Render', select 'Render Settings...', choose the settings you want, then go to 'Render' again, and select either 'Render' or 'Render current frame'

  • When I did that it would render it with no sound and then it wouldn't play. It would say that the video was 0 seconds long.

So can you not render it with the demo or something?

  • FXhome programs render with no sound, unless the video file imported is kept at the same, uncut duration, that the project is as long as the file, that it is rendered as the same format, and that the sound is based to that file (see the fxhome website for details). I personally never render with sound, because my projects tend to get complex, so I just re-dub the sound back in later on another program.

  • I was never able to render when I had the demo, but that was a long time ago, and I think they allow it now, it just renders with a watermark on it....

If you're having problems with the duration, make sure the in and out points (start and end points) are selected over the entire project, of just the part you want to render.

  • Yeah I finally got it. I rendered it with no sound and then added the sound from the original clip back. It worked fine.

    Thanks for the info though

  • cool
