Today I played the game as barbarian, and managed to beat it, thanks to your LP. I rememer when I was playing the game as a kid, but didn't know what is the main goal of a game.

funy thing is, that I beat the game at normal difficult, 310 days left, had around 6300 score and got screwed with ghosts at drybone's castle everything the same as you.

I just played this game yesterday, took me about four and a half hours to finish on IMPOSSIBLE mode, beated all Bosses including Arech, found all puzzle pieces, scored 46920 and did in 63 DAYS.

Yes, you got a crappy final score! Whaddaya expect when you never cover your troops with Resurrect spells, never garrison castles, don't concentrate on 1 enemy at a time, and want to buzz thru & win faster than the game is built for?

I legitimately beat the game Just now!!! (omg) & i used vampires to win... i had instant army got lucky my instant army was VAMPIRES OMFG!!! so i had 3k something-odd vampires & waltzed up to arench dragonbreaths castle, raised control & annihilated him it was easy!

well but...in the original KB you ain't got all of the "nowadays" creatures' abilities. Maybe damage and hp were changed too. I think these two games are not different only in graphic.

i've beaten the game at normal without any magic using only my human army against ALL villains EXCEPT the last one with more than 200 dragons, which obviously i could not defeat! One last piece in the middle was missing so i figured out easily where it was the right point(which btw it was in Saharia).

My quickest playthrough of kings bounty was about 6 minutes. I found the map for Forestria in the first chest and went straight there. I then found the next map for Archipellia (or whatever it was called) in about the second or third chest and went straight there. I bought 1 vampire, dismissed the rest of my army and flew through the first three continents getting the artifacts. The puzzle pieces showed sand, grass, rocks and water so I pretty much knew it could only be one place on Continentia.

I honestly cant remember but I was playing on easy so I would imagine there were about 860 left or so.

Apart from this my best achievment would have to be the first time I beat Arech Dragonbreath without using magic.

Oh and dude thanks so frickin much for working out that you can fly on the campaign map when you have only flying units in your army. I had no idea and now i own this game.

If you really know how to play this game, you can finish it within 150 days. Most important thing is magic, wich this guy barelly uses. Beat the last villan is not that hard as it looks. You can save lots of time with time stops, castle gates, town gates, also you can get better armys with instant army and raise control. Can you imagine having 1500+ knights?????

I beat this Game in 203 days killing all Bosses and get the Sceptre, but i have good luck doing this.

If you like this and Heroes then try Hammer of the Gods. Also by the same company but a bit more like civilizations and some norse myth in it too.

Arech Dragonbreath? Yeah he's a beast. Usually have to die at least once and then go back with an army full of Knights to finish him.

The thing you described with Impossible difficulty, I've done that a lot. Sometimes for the heck of it, I try to get as much as I can though, which leads me to use a lot of Time Stop spells to stretch things out.

Anyway, thank you for uploading all this. It's definitely made me think more about trolls, ghosts, and vampires. I'll have to try some more army ideas. Wouldn't made seeing another play later where you go all-out and find everything.

A lot more people need to see this and play King's Bounty...

You can only help someone in King's Bounty by sitting there right beside them and tell them what to do. Every other time, they're on their own(with whatever knowledge you gave 'em). The whole 'randomly placed villains and treasures' thing decides on how they'll do...usually.
