It's not a success if you:

Smash two multi-million dollar F/A-18 Super Hornets and one UH-60 Blackbird with Engine 1.

Demolish the conning tower with your right wing, killing dozens of crewmen and crippling the carrier.

Spread burning kerosene all over the flight deck, onto personnel, vehicles, aircraft and/or live munitions, thus crippling the carrier even more.

Risk the death of 400+ passengers and crew on the 747.

Set N1 for Engines 1, 2, and 3 to 100% and plummeting into the water.

@lennettz Yeah, thing is, I don't record myself knocking out a Harrier Jumpjet by throwing a tomahawk axe at it in MW2, labeling it "Soldier takes out Jetplane" and putting it here.

Second of all, if I'm gonna try to do something, I'll do it in a challenging way, i.e. colission enabled and such. Landing even something the size of a DHC/Dash 8 on a moving carrier is difficult if you have decent realism settings.

So yeah, there you have it.

747-400 Standard

Min.landing distance (autobrakes full, flaps full, airbrakes up, full reverse, minimal weight... safe full stop) = approx. 3000 ft.

Min. take-off distance (max N1, max safe flaps level, minimal weight) = approx. 5000 ft.

Nimitz-class carrier's flight deck = approx. 1100 ft

Billy Bishop (Toronto) won't let any aircraft bigger than a Dash 8 land/take-off on its 4000-ft runway, else it'll end up in the lake at the other end.
