Let me start by saying, she does have some talent. Having said that, performance was a wee bit over the top. Too much concentration on choreography, not enough on the vocals! Also, where was the whole raunchy side of this song?! The lines "plus augmentation, Voila, a brand new me" or "a late night 'yes sir', leads to good press, sir. And takes a girl pretty far". It's a song meant to be sung with attitude, which was COMPLETLEY missing in this perfomance. But I do wish you the best.

Yes, Linda is really great! Karmyn was not trying to "out-do" her...please! Karmyn highly respects her and really liked the song that her former husband wrote! Karmyn has a style all her own! And I'm very proud of her!

As the producer of this album, I would like to say that Karmyn has her own voice. When I first heard Karmyn sing this song, it prompted me to producer an album for her to make her dreams come true. I have never heard Linda Eder's version of Big Time and I am sure it is very good but Karmyn has her own distinctive voice and I am very proud to have produced an album of cover tunes for her which included this song.

I had the privilege to be in the audience that night. Sure wish the video could have done justice to the performance. I have a pretty good ear, and it seemed to me as good as it could get, performance-wise. Dancers could have been a little more together, though. Nice production-value.

That was very good considering that Karmyn is also moving on stage, but contrarily to what is stated, Karmyn's voice would not rival Linda Eder's. That's not saying that Karmyn isn't good, for she is. But let's call a spade a spade.
