Like him personally or not look at his performance - no band just him. I saw him in around '01 and it was one of the best shows ever, he played a medley of his slower songs together - no help just him- that's talent. I am a country music fan(over 50 years).To our psychologist friend who pontificates on Travis Tritt's attitude.Psychology has been mislabelled as a "science".It is nothing of the sort!. I recently graduated with my bachelor's in psychology. I agree with you about people being too variable and Jung being better than Freud (Freud was a nut case in my opinion). However it is a branch of the science field. Medicine deals with people just like psychology does and both are branches of the science field. It also depends on which field of psychology you're dealing with when talking about statistics. Clinical psychology doesn't deal with statistics, just the mind & body and the patients

I suppose initially my impression, regarding Travis Tritt came from his criticism of Billy Ray Cyrus saying "Achy Breaky" made "no sense" to him, nor did his video. During one of Tritt's interviews, he went so far as to say "Cyrus" cannot sing. Tritt also comes across, as being "all that." If I were to reference my impression of Tritt, It would be something like this: My quote: "I'm it, and I know it." I understand Tritt apologised for his comments later...because of bad publicity, I suppose.

But when Travis was asked by the interviewer he said I don't know much about Billy Ray, but said he didn't care for the song, he called it "frivolous" but said it wasnt personal. He later said that he just didnt wanna see Country become an ass wigglin contest. The media turn it into more than what it really was an Travis tried to fix it, but it was making it worse. However, Tritt may have lost the battle, but he won the war.
