  • Sorry bro, but I believe it's fake.

just look around the tree upright. This means the only house are sloping. because the house is tilted, the viewpoint of the camera becomes the person standing sideways.

sorry it's just my personal opinion could be wrong hehe

    tks, good video

**sorry for my english, i've even had google translate helped me :)

  • her voice is annoying.

  • the tour guide is hot lol

  • ive been there its really cool all of u should go

  • What has science dooooone!?!

  • they built a crooked structure on a slanted hill its simple

  • im in love with that chick

  • love that place!

  • this is like a really gay version of penn and teller

  • omg her voice is so annoying!

  • "Hi, I'm your tour guide. We built this shitty house and are now charging you to look at it."

  • its all a bunch of bull...

the house is tilted and it just makes an optical illusion same with the thing about height change.

  • @ppp9922 it is not a bunch of bull.. it is called optical illusion.. :)

  • her voice is so damn annoying

  • they just built the structure crooked. then people judge what's level by the structure instead of asking if the structure was built with a level. obviously it wasn't... nobody's solved the mystery? or they haven't accepted the most basic logic that there's no mystery about it.

  • @taylord79 I live in California and I went to the mystery spot, there we did a test, I stood on the "normal" border and my twin sister stood on the mystery spot side of the border. My sister was my same height on that side of the border, and that was up the hill. O_o? Seeing is believing I guess... I was sceptical too, you should go there it's really crazy.

  • that lady is creepin me out like seriously who in the world wants to trust that lady when i was little i fell down in the mystery spot and rolloed to the other side of the house...lol

  • The hause build that way :)

  • it's just center of gravity....

  • someone is dividing by 0 again.

  • Anyone else notice at 2:38 he puts the ball on the piece of wood and lets go. He doesn't apply any force to the ball and it rolls down the wood piece, and accelerates down it. Then it "magically," starts rolling uphill. Clearly a bogus trick!

  • what! this was my tour-guide yesterday but blonde, lol!!

  • i think that tour guide has been hitting the pipe

  • i think that tour guide has been smoking pot

  • no way

  • ive been there its fun, but i dont think anything spectacular is happening ther, i think its just an optical illusion

  • I think there is one in Ohio too

  • @ImpSD42 Also Oregon and Knott's Berry farm, CA

  • muwahahahaha your science cant save you now

  • Mechanical physics suggests that it is all an 'optical illusion.'

I will elaborate of course, the house and everything around it is slanted, making the average mind believe it is all just a joke, leading to the whole idea of gravity not being apparent, therefore when you walk in a certain direction it looks as though you're going downwards and being able to remain in a stable stance.

The rolling ball hypothesis however does not have the same effect. I will explain in my next comment.

  • I love the way she gives the ball and "extra push"

    Take your levels.

  • Super grande excellente'!

  • The Mystery Spot defies all! Mwahaha! XP

  • what about the tree branches that grow at L shapes?

  • ALL the tour guides speak in that commentary voice. Annoying.

  • Yes history channel got paid to make a fluff piece for The Mystery Spot. I also know for sure that all of you have been there so can actually comment on the location. Theories are facts after all and your all experts, right?

  • yea I find that funny how they are all over the US and they all have the same story behind it saying it was some person the bought the land and thought something was werid about the land, its all just a mind game, hell if I really wanted to I could probly build one myself

  • the girl needs to stop talking through her nose

  • That girl is a bitch! she made us go home by telling us its a 2 1/2 hr wait!

  • that girl is a mystery herself

  • R THEY DRUNK? KO VERY INTERESTING

  • I think shes the weirdest thing there. 0.O

  • Leave it to a pothead tour guide to tell you about "science"... oh brother. She's not sexy either, she's just friendly, pervs.

  • It's... It's Luna Lovegood!

  • The house and all is seemingly slanted, there is a travel channel docu. about this, where the people standing in the house look slanted but they are really just standing straight up. This is an unexplained place of vortex / gravity forces that our Darwinian bullshit "science" has NO idea about. These vortxes are why Celtics built so much around the north east portion of America, mystery hill in Massachusetts, America's Stonehenge, etc... see the works of the late Harvard prof. Barry Fell !!

  • Exactly, its an illusion done by mathematical balancing on the terrain.

The built one of these in Disney World in Florida. I went there when I was 14, this was 15 years ago now. Americans are so gullible lol.

  • @RenewalOfAllThings hey we r NOT gullible

  • @EducatedRebellion101

The trees are all slanted and it makes you think things are standing up straight when they are leaning. Learned that in 3rd grade. Darwin has little to do with physics or optics.

  • I want to go there

  • 5:23 XD

  • she's high as a kite.. my kind of girl :)

  • Tour guide is sexy in an odd way. I agree

  • isnt the house slanted? well its looks like fun, i wish i could go

  • she has an annoying voice

  • I agree shes sexy

  • tour guide is fuckin cute

  • For anyone who has not been there but is making fun of the others, I suggest you go. It will change your opinion.

  • It's done with unusual geometries that trick the brain into getting confused about spatial orientation. There are several built around the US as tourist attractions, even here in South Dakota there is the "Cosmos" mystery spot which is little more than a replica of the one in CA. They are still pretty cool, but explaining how they are done often spoils it. Most tour guides, when pressed, admit how it is engineered but those tour guides aren't as fun. Great place to take the kids.

  • I'm totally in love with the tour guide!

  • Comment removed

  • looks cool

  • Looks like an awesome place.

  • Keep on Truckin XD

  • Hey man keep on Truckin' XD XD XD made my day

  • thers a fence up because ur acualy on a hill

  • Guys, the house is...like..TILTED! What's so mysterious about a crooked building? People get dumber and dumber every year.

  • Not only the house is tilted, everything there is tilted. As you walk in you start tilting in one direction, feels real weird, you have to go there instead of calling people they are dumb.

  • well i've been here and its not fake! when walking up hill you get soooooo tired and you feel like sand bags are bieng tossed on your back. Its sooo wierd. plus i didnt belive them on the billyard ball trick, but i got my water bottle and it rolled up. i was ssoooo freaked out. you should go some time. its scary and amazing.

  • cool. But the tour guide sounds like she swallowed a bad record player and a highly concentrated dose THC. 4:46 -5:08

  • went there yesterday.. cool ass place

  • OMG! that was funny...keep on truckin'!!...thats a sticker from the 70's..my older brother had it!! LMAO!

  • i am going there on saturday..... :D

  • I see they built a house on the spot. Did they use a plumb bob and level or did they have eye ball every thing ?

  • dude ive been to this place a million times its so cool

  • that place is crazy!!

    i've been there

  • love the book :D

  • Bet she has a mystery spot... and the only way to reach it is slanted!!!! xD

  • I don't care if it's slanted or not, it's fun!

  • wow people are dumb, the house is not straight. You are constantly walking slanted and everything else looks straight.

  • yeah on the video they're purposely not making the house look slanted but straight :/

  • there's a mystery spot in the Wisconsin dells as well. The house is built on an obvious slant so it's not like you could be desived but if you stand on a ladder and lean against the slant you wont fall. balls roll up ext. Its all because of the magnesium in the hill side. That one has been proven by scientists in the area. It's still really interesting though!

  • The house is actually slanted.

  • that place is awesome.

  • is it me or you can't clearly hear what that lady is saying

  • Is this show still on??? Seems like it would make for some pretty good television!

  • "Heal me Jesus!"

    lollllll

  • this shits so trippy i just went here like this morning

  • wow. people pay money to walk into a slanted house. how dumb are these people.

  • my physics teacher told me about this...

    thats why i watched this...

    i love it..

    fantastic

  • um, idk, its on a hill

  • So what law of physics explains this?

    Looks awesome!!!

  • I went ther loved It! :D

  • When we recently visited the tour guide put a carpenter's level on the board to prove it was indeed a level surface yet the ball still rolled back at you on the board, cant quite figure this one out..

  • Yes, it's all an optical illusion, but a fun one.

  • how many times you think the tour guide has been asked if they could find her mystery spot?....lol

  • haha lol

  • the whole damn house is tilted in one direction, while the level measures the other direction that isnt tilted. Love it :)

  • I went there a few years ago, pretty fun.

  • It's like... the Haunted Shack... only not in Knotts Berry Farm :D

  • "you guy's want to take a tour?"

    "Hell ya!"

  • The whole place is tilted,it's just a big rip off, it should be shut down.

  • exactly, they built the house slanted, and it costs five dollars. anyone could just find any kind of hill and make it that way too.

  • The girl is hot! But she has a muffin top :(

  • its easy to get six pack when u hanging up like that =)

  • i live in san jose

my grandparents live in SANTA CRUZ ive been 2 the mmystery spot a lot and i get nauesous every time

  • 太不可思意了!

  • (she was my tour guide too...she was...boring lol!)

  • i went there!!! its super cool!!!

  • keep on truckin haha

  • Tour guides high!

  • ...Its a slanted house on a hill... Oh my god how does it work?! lol Seriously I was disappointed...

  • no its not ive been there a few times and there is a gravity pull if you go 20 feet behind the house and if you go a mile out its almost impossiable tp walk

  • I hate the tour guide.

  • i think the best way to figure out how to figure out this "mystery" is to bring some of the furniture to a normal house far away from the mystery spot that is level. Then, we can see if the furniture is "slanted" or not. Feel free to disagree.

  • We have one in Michigan too. It's fun!

  • We have 2 in Michigan actually. I think most people HAVE figured out what is going on. But like me, when we visit one of these places, we pretend NOT to know what is going on. It keeps the secret for the kids, and that's more fun anyway.

  • tell me what u know =]

  • enlighten me! i have no clue haha

  • its better when you live it yourself

my 5.5 foot older brother stood on a board and looked taller than me, im 6 foot

  • the place cant be leaning , if u calculate it CORRECTLY u'll see the for the ball to roll up they would have have lean forward while walking , and also wen he was leaning off the table gravity would have pulled him down if the ground was slanted or if it wasnt

  • i went there just yesterday....i wore helly's so i kept sliding and i had to hold on to the rails alot!!

  • HOW HAVE PEOPLE NOT FIGURED THIS OUT YET??!

It is absolutely against the laws of physics!

The room is slanted you retards!

Watch the video "Mystery spot secrets exposed." it shows you everything.

  • its not slanted , if it was slanted ppl would have to lean forward wen they climb , especiall y if it was slanted enough for the ball to "roll up"

  • even if it is who cares? its purely for fun and nothing else....

  • nice long booooooooard

  • i would float up just high enough to gagg the guide

  • Her voice is sooo annoying! Too TourGuide-ish Too staged. But cool place to take the kiddos

  • dood its not aliens its RUSSIANS! this is stupid the place is built like the italians built the ""leaning" tower of piza" LOL

  • the girl is hot

  • I think her voice is strange but VERY sexy! I'd like to know her....

  • @manofthestreet God, her voice is making me feel dizzy and light-headed. She should have been born without vocal cords...

  • I got suckered into going to the one in the upper peninsula of Michigan. Boy, was I pissed. I should let you blow your money to find out for yourself, but yes, the shack is crooked. Thats it. Crooked.

I suppose it would be kind of fun if you were drunk, though. I'll have to try that next time I'm up there.

  • Maybe the place is crooked or something... -.-

    Mystery... mmm scrumptious.

  • Where can I get a weird USA map. I'm retiring soon and maybe I can get my husband to get a couple of those those fly anytime tickets and we can catch a few spots and see for ourselves.

  • i want to get married there XD

  • I wonder if the carpet matches the curtains?

Oops, did I say that out loud?

  • weird and spooky.

  • its because the house is slanted...

  • The "Keep On Truckin " comment was great. What a throw back. I love it.

  • wow that wedding video was soo beautiful

  • shes so sweeet she has a slow speach though thats about it. what makes people sick is they try to straitin out the crooked house oneway to solve the mistery is build a model of the home there and then recreatethe effect

  • That girls voice is SO annoying.

  • I now understand. I have been there. I cannot say more.

  • pretty cool place to take a pic =P

  • cool so how is like ? was it cool .......

  • oh dont kill it, cmon. its for kids and stuff, right? i mean, cmon, im not going to ELmo on Ice and go "its not real! ITS NOT REAL!"

  • She is sooooooo annoying.

  • Are you kidding. That girl is Freaking Hot! I love her.

  • haha yeah i agree!

  • i have to agree with you.

  • I've Been there!

  • I was going to do a vidoe, but wikipedia ruined it for me, by explaining it way better than I could... look up mystery spot in wikipedia...it greatly explained there, under "references" there is also a good explanation.

  • Again, I think I know how the illusion is done...if I'm correct, look at the trees and the slope of the hills, it gives hints, I'll post what I think is going on in a video on my channel.

  • I'm going w/ it was built on a hill, and the house was build w/ an angle, the swinging ball give it away some what, i'm gunna download it, and edit it a bit to show you what I think....

  • I cannot stand that shticky affect that tour guides use!! But this is a very cool video!

    Thanks weird US!

  • Everything is at an angle so it looks flat, but when your not on the angled surface you actually fall geologically downward, towards the center of the Earth

  • The place is built on an angle, for pete's sake.

  • It wasn't build like that actually. It kinda fell or slide down the hill, and came to rest like that.

  • haha...yeah right man. all the other "mystery spot" or "vortex's" have the same crooked houses built on them. when i went to one of these when i was 8 i knew what was going on. how can people be so dumb??

  • I went to school @ UC Santa Cruz and I've been to the site. It's a strange feeling like someone's pushing you. The trees grow strangely there (they sort of "twist") and there is absolutely no radio reception there. There was some other weird theory about the trace metals from a crashed meteor in the soil that may be causing a magnetic pull.

  • I wish this show was still on the History Channel so that we could get some new episodes.

  • I'm enjoying all of your tours, i guess we'll be seeing you guys of the discovery channel soon. ];]

  • supposable theres a gas leak a sumthin dont light a match!

  • so what do you think it is? " its a mystery"

    hahaha great vid guys

  • Very interesting, there is a place in Scotland called the "Electric hill" where the water runs uphill.
