I have to say I disagree on this, second game is alot better if ye ask me. the camera thing when you sweep the minions and having problem moving the overlord has never hapened to me. I think its flowing good and I have no problems moving them while I move. whats also better in this game is that in the first you were a total bitch without your minions. here you can actually kick ppls ass even alone. You actually do alot of dmg on hits. so all in all I like the second one alot more

6/10?! fuck you GW Overlord2 is epic it had everything the old one had and some new features like machinery,boats and actualy city manegment (not like you just go raid the city every once in a while like overlord) you can go enslave the entire population or kill them off and actually destroy their homes and still the ability to be evil unlike most RPGs where you have to play as the good guy and go save some princes or whatever

bottom line GW sucks and should stop throwing shit at good games

If overlord 3 were made, I would change the concept. Instead of darkness mixed with humor, it should be evil all the way through. Where evil souls enter your domain to be punished where you are the purger. First person is an option you grab the enemy and steal/eat thier soul and you body pulses with dark energy, the music should be darker and realms should be more free and open like elder scrolls. Minions should be larger and fearsome (Deomon minions). etc etc.

@Warbearer567 tbh, i think that would destroy the brand "Overlord" completley, the minions add fun and humour to the game which is welcomed by the majority of gamers, i understand that "being evil" is very limited in these games but does being evil really effect gameplay? besides overlord 2 is already a 16, raise its rating any higher and it would lose a very large proportion of there current amrket.

im sure the game u dipict will excist one day.

6 is fair.. I think anyway, I played the demo and thought it was just the most simple game ever, hitting things and sending minions to do stuff. The funny stuff was the only thing that made me play on, and even that got old fast. Thinking about it, i'd have given it a 5/10. Just because it's not up to the level of most other games.

I agree. This game, imo, is a solid 8 for me. Combat was fun, the humor was hilarious, and the camara was improved--abit not by much--then the first one. Also, its worth mentioning that there is no *good* this time, which was a major change. There's either "kill everyone" or "beat everyone up and turn them into your slave. Still, a fair and honest review nonetheless.

I think it was still at least as good as the first one, indeed the multiplayer wasnt nescessary, but 6 out of 10? 7 or 8 easily, given that they had to make the best out of an existing concept, which made overlord II not as new and exciting as the old one.
