  • so much cleanup for so little work done

  • in america's test kitchen, the found that the tomato flavor actually comes mostly from the seeds. USE THE SEEDS JEEZ

  • If you use canned tomatoes. You're doing it al wrong....

  • I never worried about seeds before. I don't even notice them.

  • cooooño por fin ya le puedo quitar la sputas semillas a los malditos tomates en latas, este pana es un dios

  • actually that is a pretty cool idea , never thought about using a salad spinner to seperate the seeds ,

as for having fresh tomatoes in the winter , you can find them but they might not really be a best choice for a lot of dishes and some times it is just nice not needing to worry about if a the fruit is ripe

  • haha no shit is it really?:D we still got fresh ones inhere eaven if it were winter so yeah you can grow tomatoes at winter, idiot

  • oh adawiya why not you eat canned tomatoes with preservatives and stuff since preservative to you are healthier then fresh ones =DD

  • oh nah i would rather use fresh tomatoes ^^

  • oh wow i am so sad now

  • CANNED TOMATOES ARE HEALTHIER

  • and how is it possible not to get fresh tomatoes at winter?

  • its winter. you can't grow them. you're an idiot.

  • what is this? why to use canned tomatoes? use fresh ones

  • What country do you live in? In the U.S., you can't always get ripe, tasty tomatoes. In winter, especially, you need to rely on canned.

  • so you're telling me that there are times in the US, where there are no tomatoes in the grocery stores? this is bullshit, you dont go out in groceries often dont you? hahahaa. what about importation, most of your tomatoes come from mexico anyway, winter and summer.

lol you made me laught so much, made the US look like the third world for a second.

Isnt California and Texas part of then US too? lol doesnt snow much often there xD

  • those tomatoes look UGLY!

  • i see a seed.

  • disgusting

  • Canned tomatoes! Mm-mm, I grew up with this stuff and my grandpa makes them as well. Yummy :D

  • what's wrong with seeds?

  • they're bitter?

  • @higtea he says they tend to taste bitter

  • @higtea "they taste bitter"

  • fresh tomatoes taste better then canned tomatoes..

  • Of course, in summer.

However, in smaller northern Canadian communities, the "fresh" tomatoes obtained in winter are pretty disgusting. They're hardly even red and they taste like ass. They're also twice as expensive as in summer.

    Canned tomatoes have their place.

  • Depends on what you're making.

  • Can this centrifuge be used to enrich Uranium? :P

  • Those tomatoes are ugly :D

    Fresh = the best.

  • If you grow them yourself, sure. But storebought "fresh" tomatoes aren't ripened on the vine. Canned tomatoes are.

  • not in the winter

  • @n4v32x fresh is not always best

  • @arisingartist At least they don't look like a cancerous kidney.

  • @n4v32x

Unless your tomatoes are locally sourced/in-season, you're better off with canned tomatoes. They're at least properly ripened as opposed to being picked green and ripened with ethylene gas to survive the journey.

Canned tomatoes don't look attractive because they are peeled and pasteurized. Otherwise, they're just as good.

  • bitter? sugar. LULZ.

  • ahhh bpa!

  • Great Tip!
