  • I was just thinking What causes plaque on ur teeth? refined Sugar aka carbs, woundnt the same plaque block ur artery!!?! its not cholesterol or natural saturated fats fault! leave them alone, why demonize two important thing the body needs. The body doent need sugar/carbs.

  • I'm in Ireland they have been giving me this shit since I was three I'm 25 now .since i was 22 i have stopped. but kept them thinking I was still using them.I was seriously depressed ..And they still give them out now .

  • Why is it that for a hundreds of thousands of years humans have eaten mostly animal fat, but in the last 50 years we have decided that vegetable fat should be substituted instead. Vegetable fat is something that would never be found and consumed in nature. I think this vegetable fat craze is what is killing us. You can barely even find food anymore that is made with animal fat. Doesn't this strike anyone as odd?

  • you guys are idiots. He doesnt even know what a MI is.

  • FACT: Cholesterol drugs have NEVER been linked to decrease risk of a heart attack by more than 1%!

FACT: Every single study on these drugs has been done by the drug cos. themselves

FACT: Drug cos spin studies to their advantage and lie about the outcomes

FACT: Triglycerides, Homocysteine and C-reactive protein are the major culprits of heart disease and not cholesterol

FACT: The idea that cholesterol is a major contributor to heart disease is a hoax to sell drugs

  • That's funny I went to pubmed and searched for "saturated fat intake increase ldl" and looked down the list of results and found "Reducing saturated fat intake is associated with increased levels of LDL receptors on mononuclear cells in healthy men and women." which describes how LDL levels increase due to saturated fats interfering with LDL-receptors. The paper's abstract alone suggests that this mechanism is well know in animals and proves the link in humans.

  • I totally agree... but where is part two ?¿
