  • @rpeek It does. Now you have converted your shed into a duplex. LOL!

  • @OTGinNYC That's true.. haha.

  • @OTGinNYC It is amazing what a person can do when they put there mind to it!

  • do you remember these days when you weren't wast -deep in snow

  • @rollofnickles Shed? What shed? Oh you mean that lump in the snow out there. Yea, that used to be a shed.. hahahaha. Naw, this time of year it gets kind of hard to remember what the ground looked like.

  • Very impressive! I like your doors as well. a very colonial touch.

  • @willflanders2475 Thank You..

  • the little bird house is awesome

  • thank you

  • awwwwwwwesome

  • Hey Rpeek, we all think you're brilliant down here in England. We've recently started a band and we're trying to integrate banjo in it. its definatly the sort of music i would imagine you to like. We' re also loving your craftsmanship. You truly are a very nice man with some very extraordinary talents.

Our respects, Gentlemen of Few, Kent, UK

  • @GentlemenofFew That's wicked cool. Banjo in the band is always good, especially now days because it can ad that funky weird element to whatever else you're doing.. Good luck with it.

  • I really adore your work. What an artist you are ...

All the best from Mark, Copenhagen, Denmark, Europe

  • @markmuller Thank You!

  • love out ta yaz.... flelllow recycler... please check my vids... moneymax3001

  • wow!! that is really awesome! i love building things out of scrap, but this is so cool!! i can't wait to get some land so i can build a shack of my own.

  • this is a beautiful thing. you are a good steward of things.

  • @vutEwa Thank You!

  • Awesome, I really enjoyed it and the music also.

  • Great job and video!

  • I built a pair of twin sheds with a bunch of extra stuff I had laying around. I did spend some money but not much. I made a video too. Cool video you have

  • Great video, great music. Great shed.

  • Good resourcefulness and good banjo playing.

  • really nice shed :)

  • Nice shed out of scrap. But I hope you don't live in Tornado Alley or anywhere like that.

We get 'em over in the UK, but not what you would call a Tornado! :)

    Good on you my friend.

  • I love the stuff you do and your banjo playing is a nice touch too.

  • @skin5011 Thank You!

  • @skin5011 banjo music sucks!

  • I love this for all of the stated reasons... but mostly I love the mind, the creative mind that does this kind of thing. It takes imagination and a bit of twisted mind and a lot of skill to do this kind of work.

  • I keep hearing about buying green which makes little to no sense to me. THIS is green!!! I have some old windows that were given to me. They will going into my shed. It's just going to be for trash cans to keep the racoons and skunks from spending their time tipping them over and spreading stuff around the yard. Not a big shed like this. Thanks!

  • @bellylaughing I saw a house a guy made once out of windows. All sizes, he somehow fitted them all together, and it was pretty amazing. I don't think anything should be wasted. Good for you..

  • Great Idea and wonderful shed.

  • Comment removed

  • I love that shed!!

  • @Wiegieboard Thank You!

  • i love it...i love that you used things you had..saved money...saved landfill space...im not just all ova sudden green...ive always thought that was the way to go...and you know doesnt it just feel better to reuse...and besides...it's one ova kind..it has character...too cool:) thanx for sharin...i gotta have my dad check this out..he made a wood splitter outta some tractor parts and a hydraulic pump from an industrial paper cutter...neat...it's just so beyond smart

  • @amo22601 Thanks. Yea, I love that kind of stuff..

  • I hear you. I am still just immature enough to get a little excited when something doesn't seem right. You seem like a genuinely good feller and I appreciate you spending time doing something that enlightens and entertains a lot of folks. It tickles me to see you and the boss having fun.

  • Thanks! I'm a lucky ol' fart.. hahaha

  • Paint your house next summer then! : )

  • What's the rush? It's needed paintin' for 15 years or more.. Why paint it now? Just jokin'... Actually, that is one of the things on my list for this summer.. Thanks.

  • Just brilliant ; so original!

  • that's so cool, it turned out really good.

  • 'Tis a shed that would make Ted Kaczynski proud.

  • 'Tis. Ol' Ted's moved up ya know.. I hear he's livin' in a much sturdier abode these days....

  • 1 nice shed made from scrap. 2 :38 you stupid hillbilly fag

  • Who is stupid? Maybe you need an epiphany. Would you know a hillbilly if they bit you? Do a little research dude. If you can see out the cheeks of your own... Luck with it.. How's your momma and them?

  • nice job man! and holy shit you sound like bill hicks!!

  • Shux! Thank ya neighbor..

  • @rpeek no problem man, keep'em comin! and just so ya know, those doors look awesome on there. it makes her really stand out. it's not something you see in your everyday "kit shed" ya know?

  • Yea, it's not exactly a kit shed is it.. hahaha. Kind of a made out of what I could find shed. It was quite fun to put it together.

  • I have about 8 dollars in an 8 by 8 in my back yard. You can't tell em nothing. Power to you Mr. P. You can make them feel, but you can't make 'em think. Sorry I'm a little bitter.

  • Not too much bothers me at this point.. I been kicked enough times where it just makes me laugh now.. hahahaha..

  • it's nice to be smart, great job

  • i think im gonna start looking for garage doors. thanks.

  • Yea, they work good. I used one to make the wall on my shed, next to the house. Can't really see it from the road, but it was cheaper than buying wood, and it covers a 10 foot area just great. Even has windows in it for light.. haha

  • nice touch with the arch doors, man.i dont think id a painted it though.

  • No sweat. That paint's already peelin' off.. haha

  • I love the banjo

  • Thank you!

  • great job on the shed and beautiful choice on the front door...a little cheesy but very cute with the bird house on the top. :)

  • Yea, well the bird house was just something I had and didn't know what to do with, so I stuck it up there. It hasn't hurt anything.. hahaha

  • yep, all the same I like it, cheesy is good at times. In Vermont up at our old farmhouse on the barn we have a big rooster weathervane and on the greenhouse a windmill-- now thats REALLY cheesy..LOL

  • I like that stuff..

  • Hey good pickin and nice job old chap!

  • Thank You..

  • Great job in incorporating what all you had to work with. Came out very well! For some reason, although im rather young, i love hearing the banjo, it's kind of tranquil and relaxing to hear. Well I see you have ALOT of other interesting video's so I'll check those out as well. =)

  • Thanks.. Yea,the banjo works for me too.. haha

  • Love the banjos.

  • Me too!

  • Very nice! I wish I could be as handy and talented as you.

  • Guess I'm just lucky.. I know how to do a lot of stuff..

  • Nice job. Shed looks really good.

  • Yea, it's been really helpful for putting things out of the weather. I built it on skids, and moved it yesterday. Worked out just great. Thanks.

  • That's awesome! You know, a structure like this would make a cool art studio or office as well. I like how you used the window of the garage door. Great work!

  • Thanks. Yea, all that scrap came together real good..

  • nice job.

  • You are gifted! I Love your work! I don't say that often so there!

I watched your videos and Dick Proenneke came to mind..He was hardcore though.

  • awesome shed, man.

  • Turned out real nice. There's nothing better then building something out of scrap wood thats just lying around. I have also found that home depot sells "cull" lumber cheap, 8 foot 2x4's for 51¢ .

  • dude if you lived in Jersey I swear I'd be hanging out at your place all the time, you're awesome haha

  • cool!

  • Shed sucked but music rocks.

JUST KIDDING. Loved the shed and music thats for sharing.

  • hahaha.. Thanks.

  • Nice work! I'm gonna take a shot at a small shed out of old cured wood I found and other scrap wood.

  • It's good work. You'll enjoy it.

  • impressive...thanks for sharing

  • Betcha!

  • i've thought of building a shack or something out of garage doors(and regular exterior man doors) for a while. this is the first i've seen it fone. nice job!

  • The doors were too big to store, 16 feet long, so doing this solved a couple of problems at once. Worked out nice.

  • nice job..............

  • Thanks..

  • i like things like this more than the professional "perfect" things we tend to turn ourselves into slaves to pay off the rest of our lives. well done dude! cheers...

  • Thanks. Me too. I'd rather have a bit of junk thrown together than a lot of new stuff I'd have to make payments on...

  • nice shed Richard

  • No its not scrap its called recycling.

  • Gee... I could use you around here!

  • Yea, if you've got a pile of junk you need someone to hammer into shape, I'm your man..

  • Nice shed, I don't think you should have painted it though, I like the whole old wood look, though the birdhouse was nice. This reminded me of when my dad and i built our shed like ten years ago, and when do we get to hear more banjo? Anyways, nice project, looks cool.

    Bye

  • Yea I think I agree on the old wood. It's okay though. With the winters we have, that paint will be peeling off in no time.. I'll settle down and play some more soon.

  • Enjoyed this...the birdhouse is perfect.

My husband and I were kayaking on the river last week, and I saw a man in a kayak that looked like you. I yelled to him, "Do you play banjo?" He yelled, "Nope." It wasn't you. Have a great day.
