@rollofnickles Shed? What shed? Oh you mean that lump in the snow out there. Yea, that used to be a shed.. hahahaha. Naw, this time of year it gets kind of hard to remember what the ground looked like.
Hey Rpeek, we all think you're brilliant down here in England. We've recently started a band and we're trying to integrate banjo in it. its definatly the sort of music i would imagine you to like. We' re also loving your craftsmanship. You truly are a very nice man with some very extraordinary talents.
@GentlemenofFew That's wicked cool. Banjo in the band is always good, especially now days because it can ad that funky weird element to whatever else you're doing.. Good luck with it.
Wow. Very resourceful. Anyone who needs a shed kit. Check out BetterSheds on the web. Our kits are at unbeatable prices and can help the more noivce DIY, with excellent plans and panelized walls.
wow!! that is really awesome! i love building things out of scrap, but this is so cool!! i can't wait to get some land so i can build a shack of my own.
I built a pair of twin sheds with a bunch of extra stuff I had laying around. I did spend some money but not much. I made a video too. Cool video you have
I love this for all of the stated reasons... but mostly I love the mind, the creative mind that does this kind of thing. It takes imagination and a bit of twisted mind and a lot of skill to do this kind of work.
I keep hearing about buying green which makes little to no sense to me. THIS is green!!! I have some old windows that were given to me. They will going into my shed. It's just going to be for trash cans to keep the racoons and skunks from spending their time tipping them over and spreading stuff around the yard. Not a big shed like this. Thanks!
@bellylaughing I saw a house a guy made once out of windows. All sizes, he somehow fitted them all together, and it was pretty amazing. I don't think anything should be wasted. Good for you..
i love it...i love that you used things you had..saved money...saved landfill space...im not just all ova sudden green...ive always thought that was the way to go...and you know doesnt it just feel better to reuse...and besides...it's one ova kind..it has character...too cool:) thanx for sharin...i gotta have my dad check this out..he made a wood splitter outta some tractor parts and a hydraulic pump from an industrial paper cutter...neat...it's just so beyond smart
I hear you. I am still just immature enough to get a little excited when something doesn't seem right. You seem like a genuinely good feller and I appreciate you spending time doing something that enlightens and entertains a lot of folks. It tickles me to see you and the boss having fun.
What's the rush? It's needed paintin' for 15 years or more.. Why paint it now? Just jokin'... Actually, that is one of the things on my list for this summer.. Thanks.
Who is stupid? Maybe you need an epiphany. Would you know a hillbilly if they bit you? Do a little research dude. If you can see out the cheeks of your own... Luck with it.. How's your momma and them?
@rpeek no problem man, keep'em comin! and just so ya know, those doors look awesome on there. it makes her really stand out. it's not something you see in your everyday "kit shed" ya know?
I have about 8 dollars in an 8 by 8 in my back yard. You can't tell em nothing. Power to you Mr. P. You can make them feel, but you can't make 'em think. Sorry I'm a little bitter.
Yea, they work good. I used one to make the wall on my shed, next to the house. Can't really see it from the road, but it was cheaper than buying wood, and it covers a 10 foot area just great. Even has windows in it for light.. haha
yep, all the same I like it, cheesy is good at times. In Vermont up at our old farmhouse on the barn we have a big rooster weathervane and on the greenhouse a windmill-- now thats REALLY cheesy..LOL
Great job in incorporating what all you had to work with. Came out very well! For some reason, although im rather young, i love hearing the banjo, it's kind of tranquil and relaxing to hear. Well I see you have ALOT of other interesting video's so I'll check those out as well. =)
That's awesome! You know, a structure like this would make a cool art studio or office as well. I like how you used the window of the garage door. Great work!
Turned out real nice. There's nothing better then building something out of scrap wood thats just lying around. I have also found that home depot sells "cull" lumber cheap, 8 foot 2x4's for 51¢ .
i've thought of building a shack or something out of garage doors(and regular exterior man doors) for a while. this is the first i've seen it fone. nice job!
i like things like this more than the professional "perfect" things we tend to turn ourselves into slaves to pay off the rest of our lives. well done dude! cheers...
Nice shed, I don't think you should have painted it though, I like the whole old wood look, though the birdhouse was nice. This reminded me of when my dad and i built our shed like ten years ago, and when do we get to hear more banjo? Anyways, nice project, looks cool.
Yea I think I agree on the old wood. It's okay though. With the winters we have, that paint will be peeling off in no time.. I'll settle down and play some more soon.
My husband and I were kayaking on the river last week, and I saw a man in a kayak that looked like you. I yelled to him, "Do you play banjo?" He yelled, "Nope." It wasn't you. Have a great day.
good job, thanks for sharing it-!
