@z71greenMACHINE i have 2 1/4 pipes and the 18inch versions of the bullets on my truck. which reminds me i need to take a new video with no wind still. i love the sound of mine.
the are two bullets just like the listing says they are ;)
heres a better video when i had my pipes redone again but with long 3 or4inch wide tips. i had to get my pipes redone because i lowered my truck shortly after i had these first ones done and they wouldnt clear my axle with it lowered 6inches in the rear :( but o well. the tips i love.
IMO tips wont change the sound at all... just for looks. my pipes are 2.25. largest tip i would do is 3inch. but i will probably only go with 2.5inch tips myself but with the longer pipes and you defiantly want to go with STAINLESS STEEL TIPS!!! sure its about twice the money BUT it will last forever! just chromed tips will only last a year or 2 if your lucky before they rust to hell and look like crap!
i got a 96 chevy and i want to put some dynomax race bullets on my truck ive been looking at them and i cant decide what i want should i i get the 12 in. shell case or the 18 in? whats the difference
the longer ones should give it a smoother sound like a longer silencer.... mine are the 23.125 in. long. one on each pipe of the duals.
tho i still havent gotten a new video yet. i lowered my truck and my new pipes would not clear the axle so i had to cut them off and still havent gone back to have them rebent or wha tever they can do to get my pipes out the rear again. with no pipes out the back it drones quite a bit more with it just right before the axle.
i got a 4.8L- u think it would sound as aggressive and deep as yours if i got a wider inlet/outlet like 3 or 4 inches or would i lose power doing that.
well might depend..... you talking about just the muffler size or the whole piping larger? and single or duals?
if its for duals 4inches is huge overkill but for a single i guess 4 would be alright size. but alot of the time it just depends on the truck. not ever motor sounds the same.
If I had 2.5 inch pipes, longer bullets should have a deeper sound to them right?

Yes, tips DO change the sound. The longer and bigger, the deeper the note.
