NYC has been a no fly zone for years now which was one of the reasons why Yankees pitcher, Cory Lidle's plane ran into trouble when it had to make a hard u-turn over the East river back in 2007. It wasn't permitted to fly over the city and in attempt to avoid this the pilot turned hard, lost power, and crashed. This is why people would have been nervous to see aircraft over any part of Manhattan at all let alone one flying so low and accompanied by a fighter jet.

Looks like a bunch of tinfoil hattery to me. EVERYWHERE Airforce One goes it has military escort (for obvious reasons). Also, this looks like a HOLDING PATTERN. Inbound planes circle in the air and wait for busy airport runways to be cleared so they can land (NY has some of the busiest airports in the country) and since it's AIRFORCE ONE, security on the ground comes first and must be taken care of before landing. And why is the sound removed from this video that was taken from AP?

There are only 2 possible explanations:
1)US authorities are so incredibly stupid (I'm talking terminally dumb-fuck stupid!) that they never imagined a 747 swooping down and around NYC chased by a military jet would cause any one to panic, since everyone would have forgotten about 9-11 by now.
2) They knew they'd cause panic but couldn't care less since Americans have a short attention span anyway.
3) This was more than just a photo op and somebody is fucking with your mind.

Led up to by Clinton's gutting the CIA, preventing covert activities, and ignoring clear signs- like bombings , attacks on US Embassy buildings, the Cole, Beirut marine barracks. It should have been apparent that we were being targeted, and our lack of any decent response led to 9/11. In the first few months of Bush's presidency, by the way. Bush kept us from being hit again. When the documents are declassified ( don't count on Obama ) you will learn how many attacks were stopped.

Anyone could have pulled off an attack within the US. Just because no one did, doesn't mean Bush kept us safe. Were we expecting another attack so soon? We weren't invaded on 9-11; those people lived in the US. Where was the Bush admin when we needed them before 9-11? Plenty of warnings; Condi said 52 I believe, "Bin Laden plans to strike within US", and then the lie, "we never thought planes would be used as missiles", when our air force had been training for that exact type of event, etc.

there are some things that you don't want foreign countries to find out. there is probably something important about flying over NY for AF1 & escort. kind of like Bush flying over New Orleans. the only thing i don't understand is why there weren't two escort fighters. one thing i can see, is that there will be no hesitation to shoot down any airliners that fly off route into a city without radio contact.
