i love chef rick's cooking and personality ..he makes u feel all the recipes r simple but when u see the dish at the end u know its only him who can do that .. what a great chef ..
A great recipe from a great chef, - but I prefer to quarter the mushrooms & fry them in butter + a little oil, until the full flavour develops, then do the onions seperately, then the meat. - served with tagliatelle ( tripolene is even nicer ), and/or wild rice...
This makes total sense, I mean OF COURSE Russians would use one of the most expensive cuts for their meal. It wasn't like they were a poor nation barely surviving or anything. 0_0. Dude, you worked in a hotel, sure your stroganoff probably rocks but that hardly gives you the right to say how it is supposed to be made.
