If you don't think he he hits hard. I'm sure he'd love for you to take his punch in the upper sternum throat area fully exposed as he lays his 228lbs right into you.. Talk is cheap. Shut up and come do it!!
@michman5614 MMA is just kickboxing and jujitsu. I think I prefer JKD. no rules, any weapon. and we take the martial code seriously. sport MMA is very good, but overrated for self defense. everything has pro's and con's
There is a lot more to Systema then fighting in MMA Those guys that own the UFC and Pride are out there making a lot of money off talented fighters and therefore you will never see any serious Russian military operative compete like this.. The Russians have always kept what they do in the military out of sport fighting games... It's not the same mentality as it is over here in the states.. they are all about principle and not money or notoriety.. They don't care.
I know of a couple major names in MMA that have come up to see Vladimir and were tossed around like rag dolls to where they didn't even look like they had any fighting experience.
There is speculation that Fedor trained in the Russian style to degree or what was taught in the military to some extent.. A lot of people that were in MMA came up to me told me that there was this Russian guy Fedor that was punching in a very relaxed whip like mannor similar to the way I was teach them to punch and they believed that it was this dynamic over actual technique that caused him to win.
I dont understand why systema isnt used in MMA. It covers all ranges of fighting and from videos ive seen on the net it doesnt really break any rules. could someone please explain why it would be ineffective in the ring or just why no one has used it?
@SamiNami Ive been to a class, I can tell you first hand its not acting. They actually did that punch that makes you fall on me. So don't bother telling me that shit. Ive been doing MA all my life and I know whats fake and whats not. Thats the problem with YouTube. Its full of a bunch of know it all tough guys. If you haven't tried a class you shouldn't criticize. As simple as that.
This clip is just as fun as the one in the garage. "Woohoo... old man" , hahaha. Great stuff! I can't find that particular clip anymore though. Where is it?

A systema punch you can feel inside your body
if hit in the ribs it is like a motor boat cutting a wake throu the water and the water being your organs
At other times it is like a huge rock falling throu the water or a pond
