Furthermore, the breakdown between individual states within the US shows no correlation between firearm laws and murder. If anything, you could argue inverse correlation; DC has relatively restrictive firearms laws while having the highest homicide rate in the US. The second highest is Puerto Rico. Texas clocks in at #19.

@usa1freedom4all Actually, maybe "sucks" is a strong and exaggerated term, but he does have a point. I'm Canadian and believe it or not, our problems are mostly the same as yours. It is also true that in Europe, guns aren't brought to school. In my opinion (and I have lived in 5 countries, so I do know what I'm talking about) the reason they have these problems in the USA is because of the restrictions and consequences of Highschool fights. They're taken too seriously and therefore bring tension
