@iR0NMike4 Thanks. It depends... There are some really good deals on these in the US. I've seen some good looking ones ranging from $3k - 8k. Base coupes and SE's can even be cheaper than that, but the condition of them varies a lot as many of them haven't been treated with care over the years.
Hey buddy nice car, I've always wanted one. My friend had a 1986 Fiero 4 cylinder base model. It blew a headgasket, and he sent it to the junkyard. :(
@dadsoldtapes The Americans still use MPH in new cars today. Usually with the option to switch to KPH or with it written in smaller print on the speedo (as seen in my Fiero).
@Jamesh1991 That is correct (unfortunately). Thing is, unless you imported this (necessitating a pricey conversion to Right-Hand Drive in the process) from the US, it should have had the speedo in km/h, and typically km/h only (Australia is strictly metric). Maybe in 1987 Australia had yet to fully covert; in old 1950s Aussie car ads you find here on YouTube the measurements are still in English.
The first car I ever owned 1987 Gold Fiero GT 5-speed manual, this video takes me back. From 1989-1997 & I used to work far but the Fiero drove well. I knew this car almost inside out. I worked at an auto parts store at the time & I bought the repair manual so I used to work on it when it needed maintenance. I needed a short-ratchet for the back row of plugs. I was planning on adding a Chevy short-block & changing the transmission but it never happened. I was forced to sell it.
my friend recently got a fiero gt for free. it has a turbo charger, cool air intake, and exhaust system. pretty good deal for free eh?? the whole trunk was used for performance parts, because it had no space to put/add new parts.
Once you buy it, you never want to sell it. Plus, in the US the car is reasonably priced to begin with so you're not losing a major amount of money at all.
I think we now all know where John Delorean's secret other project car ended up :) Congrats on the car Jimbo, truly a brilliant move and I like the L plate too as I had the same thing with the Lotus when I first bought it all those years ago and converted it to a time machien before I got the Delorean. Cheers, Doc Braun :)
sweet ride, how much would you guess one would go for?

I've always loved Pontiac Fieros. I like them more than Toyota's MR2, which is similar in that the engine is in the back, but that's about it.
