They're riding down 7th Avenue in most of the video. At 3:15 they're passing by Madison Square Garden, then crossing over into Queens from Manhattan via the Queensboro bridge at 7:20 ...
I don't mind it when bike messengers latch onto my SUV or riding beside me ALONG or even when they're going AGAINST traffic since I can see them.
It's when bike messengers run red along the cross street that annoys me as I nearly ran over two idiots a few months ago on 9th Ave and W 56th St.
to me the hardest person has to be the camera man because hehas to keep up with everyone to see what is going on but still stay behind them gfor a good shot awesome
they don't, lol, If your going to drive yourself (one person) a few blocks to a restraunt, just take a bike. Seriously it's so much better for everybody and the environment, it's just the logical solution...
so I've just spent a good hour washing, getting ready. put on my nice new shirt and trousers with some real mean leather shoes and some aftershave, and i gotta get on a bike and pedal my arse down there turn up sweating like a twat for my date.
So excellent! I marvel at the bike handling skills. Threading the needle through traffic with one of the guys calling out "go-go-go-go!" was great. They can't slow down, they can't stop. Speed gives them the maneuverability. If you slow down too much you can't click out of your pedals in time and you can just fall over. You want to do that in traffic? And, on the other hand, if one of the pedestrians had reached out and beat one of these guys with a briefcase, he would have had it coming.
What big, selfish idiots!

And if you turn up a sweat after a few blocks of cycling?
you need to get in shape.
