Well said liannemr. CarpeOmne, you're bashing religion when it's obviously something you don't understand. Praying is an action Christians can take right now against a very intolerant religion, Islam. That is not saying they won't stand up and defend this country with their own blood, but it's a first step. Besides, you should know stereotypes do not reflect all of those in a group. There are bad seeds in any group, religious and otherwise, because we are all human and inherently flawed.

It teaches kids at a young age to not trust disbelievers, to discriminate against and hate them (in more passages than it says to tolerate them, i might add). In contradiction to Mark, in Matthew 12:39 Jesus says that only one sign would be given - the sign of Jonah.

In contradiction to both Mark and Matthew, the gospel of John speaks of many signs that Jesus did. Many people were following Jesus "because they were seeing the signs He was performing" (John 6:2)...

The other contradictions stem from all the various different and opposing rules jesus laid out for those who wish to follow him. Again, someone made a very comprehensive video on the subject, i can't remember who, but it listed everything jesus ever said on the subject, and it's really quite hilarious to view!
