  • Ass-kickin bro...thanks for the great up!!

  • @dmkc1207 No prob, im glad people like this!

  • It's a travesty that Deep Purple isn't in the Rock Hall of Fame.

  • @2000toddowen Too funny! Hahahahahha You're on to something there!

  • Thanks for posting--- this is the version they keep putting on the "Best of" compilations

  • I thought it was the LP version

  • i always dreamed i could play this guitar song

  • Great job buddy!!! great quality!!! thanks for uploading!!

  • Jimi would have shit his pants when he heard Blackmore's solo. It was really out there for the day, especially for a single for gods sake. It was beyond anything even he was doing or done it terms of modes, choice of notes and bending & twisting of notes. And Lord's organ is majestic. Evans' vocals are cool too. Great stuff indeed.

  • At :45..

I didn't know Anton Chigurh played bass for Purple.

  • GREAT! I REALLY LOVE IT ! :D

  • Deep Purple, with a few new band members, went on to make some great music. But I don't think they ever again equalled Hush and Kentucky Woman. They didn't write either song, but they worked them into something completely new. I always thought they did for Hush and Kentuck Woman what the Vanilla Fudge did for You Keep Me Hangin' On - they took good songs but made them so much better than the originals.

  • @StarRiders100 ritchie blackmore said the only thing he listened to back then was the vanilla fudge I wonder what neil diamond thinks of deep purples version I think deep purples originals are actually better but the solos and vocals on this are definately great

  • Yes...Most definitely the BEST VERSION...THANKS!!!!

  • well done!

  • Sittin' surveillance in the late 60's, Sunday AM about 8. This song came on. Loved it!!! Cranked up the radio, subject started to move. 2-way starts going off, I'm first in line. I'm pounding the steering wheel, darned subject stops at light. I'm alongside and a bit back, the car is throbbing, I'm shaking my head patting the dashboard, stomping my foot. He glanced over, shook his head. NO way he makes me. He turned right, I went straight and got into our line. Was glad when KW ended.

  • @bowserrick What kind of machine were you driving?

  • @yankeecenturyman HI. I was in a new Pontiac Firebird slightly modified for surveillance. It had large, quiet mufflers, a 400 engine, individual switches for head and taillights, dome light disabled and a mount for a 16mm camera. It had a 30 watt radio to talk with other cars or to a switchboard for messages or telephone patch. Hidden antenna. I felt very foolish for having been so loud and conspicuous. I was young, bored, tired and careless. Wrecked it a couple of months later.

  • I love that every Deep Purple album cover is shown in the video. And you know what? Each and every last one of those albums is fantastic.

  • @Motoroilspill teehee.

  • one helluva rush !!!

  • Thanks for the upload. Hope it sticks around for years.

  • Love this guitar solo.

  • TY 4 the share.....best I have heard yet! :-)

  • Best organ solo in rock. At least that I know of. Can anyone think of another of the same caliber?

  • This version DID get pulled immediatly many times due to what he said.He is not joking. Thats why i replied to you and thanked you so much for uploading this again. My Uncle,,Steven Osting was just buried yesterday at Resthaven in Louisville,,at 54 years old,,Diabetes finally got him. Whew,,it's hard to type this,..but he always LOVED this original version,,and so did I,,when I was only 5 years old subjectected to the Bass and Deep Purple's Unbelievable a** kicking rock.God I miss him.

  • @singlejeff69 nice version of this song. saw them sing this song on tv on the merv griffin show in 1969. loved it ever since. thanks

  • It wasn't on Youtube because of the copyright assholes. I know. I tried to upload this song myself, and they immediately blocked it.

  • Thank God !!! The original version I remember on WAKY (790) and WKLO (1080) in Louisville, Ky.For obvious reasons this was huge in Louisville in '68,,,and still is to this day. The Bass on this will remove plaster from the walls. I don't know who you are,,but thank you so much for posting this fabulous hit of Deep Purple !!!

  • There Ain't no doubt, I'm Talkin' about !!!

  • Finally, The Original with Rod Evans before he was Fired from the Band. What a Classic, Priceless !!!

  • Comment removed

  • I agree. From their 2nd album w/ Rod Evans singing. I loved the early Deep Purple albums (3 of them B4 Ian Gillian joined the band)

  • @bbrown090852 Many deep purple fans maybee including you think their third album is best
