to: ddeeguy34 regarding Susan's Cry Me A River, search for Eddie Anderson interview he was the producer of the cd and he talks of Susan on this cd and many other talents on it and within that region. I think he'd loose his credibility if it wasn't true. It was 10 years ago and she admitted to not singing in public for a couple of years before the audition. My guess is taking care of her aged mother until passing at 91 more recently. Her life was on hold.

My parents are Scottish with a brogue and people always said English, as that's the most common reaction, and when they corrected them to the same as you did, no Scottish, or try to explain or British will do as it's the United Kingdom, some would be so rude to say, 'well it's all the same'. Where Americans get bothered about each state, southern, etc. I find Americans don't know their geography outside of their own US very well.
