Anyway, today, this laptop is kinda okay, and will probably get it for around 800 bucks Litreally, what ever happened to Quad core? Good laptop huh? Can it run GTA IV? Run Crysis? Yeah. I can get a top-of-the-range gaming PC for around half the price I'd pay for this piece of shit. I mean, yeah, it's okay, but I wouldn't get it for a desktop PC. Plus, they cheated! @INY79 not for a laptop. though it could be gddr5 but still. i've tweaked crysis to run on medium-high with 25-60 fps on a dual core 2.8 ghz 4 gigs of ram and a 512 gddr5 gpu.. and that is with the heat problems that comes with a laptop.. so i'd say the gpu is better than you might think.

@EmilxLollipop Lol. It is a 8 series GPU, and it was like the cream of the gpus along with the 8800s when it came out. I'd expect it to run crysis at med high at that kinda fps. Try newer games like mafia 2, crysis 2 when it comes out, bioshock 2, battlefield bad company 2, medal of honour, kane and lynch, etc

Desktops are the ultimate gaming machine, they stay cooler and generally have a longer life span than a laptop no laptop/notebook can clock as many fps (frames per second) as a desktop.. and desktops made yourself are cheaper. and you can also upgrade your desktop to keep it upto date with the games.. laptops can be found a bit tricky to do that with considering there size and all.

GX700 has a 17 inch screen and GX600 has a 15.4 inch screen. Yes, you can take off the stickers.

The price should be $1299 or $1329. Like right now I see a GX620 on ebay selling for $1329.

Your other option would be to get the GX630 which sells for $899-$1049 on ebay or $799 at newegg(dot)com. The only major difference between these 2 laptops is that the GX630 has an AMD CPU where as the GX620 has an Intel CPU. The other features are pretty much the same.

Yeah, you're better off because the GX630 has a better graphics card (nvidia geforce 9600 GT) compared to the GX700 which has a 8600 GT. Please note that the GX630 has 15.4 inch screen size and the GX700 has an 17 inch screen size.
